—Third Person POV.—

The morning sun cast a golden hue over the scene, dappling the Ladies' gowns in shades of amber and rose while the Prince stood at the edge of the courtyard—mismatched eyes sweeping over the gathered Ladies preparing for the day's outing.

Chancellor Ojiro stood by his side, observing His Highness for a long moment before noting the man standing opposite him, positioned next to the Prince.

Who randomly appeared recently and seemed to be yapping away to his friend—of course, Ojiro wanted to question just how he'd gotten in, but the royal seemed much less stiff due to his presence.

So, he brushed it off and chose to ignore the Travelers suddenly constant company.

Speaking of which, Midoriya's words were being drowned out by the chatter of the Ladies—and since he couldn't hear it, the Chancellor instead turned to see just what his Highness had been searching through the lively chatter for.

And that led his gaze to Lady (Y/n)—who, as per usual, showed up late and looked to have been actively dragged there by the ochre-haired Lady at her side.

Despite making an effort to stand slightly closer to the rest, her expression grew pensive and her posture was left stiff when her friend said something to her— Before rushing off to her own horse.

Leaving the Lady of Kyushu alone.

The Chancellor hummed, turning to point out the notion and gauge his Highness's thoughts—but his words never got to leave his lips, because the dual-haired man was already gone.

Staring at the vacant spot he could've sworn the Prince had been standing in just seconds beforehand..

Midoriya gave Ojiro a sheepish smile and wave before pointing ahead of them—making the Chancellors eyes snap up to search around for the tall man.

Only to catch sight of him already approaching the Lady on his own accord.

Chancellor Ojiro didn't bother calling out or even following after the Prince—just smiling as he watched Lady (Y/n) take notice of his approach and, with a quick glance, stepped to the side.

His eyes widened, jaw damn near unhinging and dropping on to the floor as his Highness paused with a flicker of confusion crossing over his features.

Taking another step forward, mismatched eyes watched as she again stepped away, maintaining a deliberate distance—causing his head to tilt in silent questioning.

The Chancellor was subjected to witness it, the complete stupidity of a Prince not getting the hint that the Lady wasn't wanting him to follow her.

He couldn't even tell if it was worse that throughout the day, the Lady of Kyushu continued to evade his Highness—seamlessly using the other Ladies as cover or straying towards the periphery of the group.
