—First Person POV.

Izuku let out a nervous laugh, the sound warm and awkward—a stark contrast to everything I'd learned about him.

For someone single-handedly responsible for the existence of a "kill on sight" list, the fact that it only bore his name seemed almost laughable when paired with that kind of laugh.

It was the kind of sound you'd expect from someone who apologized for bumping into furniture—not from someone the King seems to despise and see as some kind of dangerous individual.

His freckles shifted with the upturn of his lips, scattered across his face like stars against a blushing sky—

It didn't help that he stood there awkwardly, his hands fidgeting at his sides, and tangling in an invisible thread, like he wasn't quite sure what to do with them.

"You're terrible at looking inconspicuous," I comment while clearing my throat in an attempt to mask my own embarrassment—stepping closer to fix the hood of his cloak since the fabric had slipped back slightly, revealing a glimpse of his viridescent gaze.

His stature slouched down a bit as he lowered his head to make it easier for me—the ghost of a more relaxed smile now playing on his lips "I'm sorry, My Lady."

I paused, opening my mouth to correct him, before quickly remembering and instead opting to flick the Travelers forehead "I told you to just stick with (Y/n)." I state and his eyes twitch with the light tap.

"Sorry, sorry, I just thought.." He starts, allowing me to tug the hood down firmly, and make sure the shadows fully obscured his face "You're a noble, so.."

"I'm just not big on formalities, okay?" I hum as I let my hands drop to rest on my hips and watch as he raises a hand to slightly brush up the hood I literally just fixed—letting those emerald eyes catch my pointed stare.

"Right, understood." He dropped the hood back over his gaze.

He huffed out a chuckle, and as he did, a flash of teeth caught my eye—sharp canines gleam within his grin.

There was a predatory elegance in the way they seemed to peek out, almost as if they were meant to be noticed, but not quite.

"Huh, I didn't know you had fangs?" I comment with the curious tilt of my head and lean in to get a better look.

The close proximity seemed to startle the Traveler as he suddenly shoots up and back—consequently whacking the back of his head against the stone wall, which made me jolt in surprise.

His hands shot up to hold the back of his head as a hiss of pain escapes his lips and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do—

And of course, just before I could even try to help the man, a knock sounded off from the door beside me.
