Lost Memory Of Love

Sun has spreaded his charm around every corner painting the sky in hues of crimson and gold. The road looks like a sketch with long shadows of palm trees. The rays of sunlight peeked through skyscrapers.

Sky looks at the morning view through the bus window.

A white small bus arrives at the province station of bangkok.

Around five people get down the bus. Helen and Rain just stand looking at a tall Dark blue building with black windows. It has at least 15 floors. Both looked at each other and smiled widely. And walk inside the police station.

Today both are wearing gray colored police uniforms with a peak cap on their head. They Both are really looking dashing today. Everyone at the station is glancing at them without getting noticed.

Helen and Rain and more officers had arrived in the conference room. It is big and wide. Two officers stand in front of them. One officer introduced,"Captain Frost, this is Helen Chaijindar and this is Varain Tangwai." the officer turns to them," This is the captain of our provincial unit, Frost Patheera."he introduced.

Captain Frost only nods as hello doesn't say anything.

Helen and Rain both says,”Captain Frost!” As they saluted him.

Prapai comes in last but everyone focuses on the captain no-one notices him coming and sitting down.

Captain Frost notices Prapai has came,“everyone is here? Let's begin then. Everybody sit!”

Everyone sat down.

“The reason why I invited you all here is to create an opportunity for us to learn from each other. In the following week, all of you will stay at the provincial unit and receive training. After one week you all will have a test and after that a graduation ceremony.”

He pauses and while looking at everyone, “whoever passes the test will be in the special investigation team.” He smiles,”That's all now everyone here can share their most difficult cases.”

One by one every officer shares the experience.

Captain Frost says,”lastly, Stop's case. The crime was committed in an unusual way.”He turns his head, “Helen Chaijindar, give us your report.”

“Yes, sir,” Helen stands up with a file and shares the case.

After he finishes reading the report. everyone claps for him.

Helen smiles shyly. 

Helen looks at Prapai. He already saw him during the conference. Prapai is wearing his uniform today. Helen has never seen him wear one before, so he was actually a bit stunned by it. but now Prapai is clapping for him. Helen doesn't know why it feels like something is stabbing in his heart.

Helen starts his one week intensive training. And then they’ll take the train to return to Chum Phae directly. There are no breaks, and not a second wasted.

Time skip, It’s almost Friday.

It’s pretty much the end of their group training. They’ve arranged to visit the various departments of the public security bureau such as the office, the operational base, and museum to learn about the exceptional traditions and history, and have a feel of its culture.

It’s almost 6pm when they make it to the provincial station. The bus slowly drives into the entrance as the group chit-chats excitedly. Rain is also full of energy. Only Helen is sitting quietly by the window, thinking: they won’t bump into Prapai, will they?
