Becky's POV
After leaving Freen at the police station, we immediately went home to prepare. But first, I told my grandmother what had happened. She became worried, but her concern lessened after hearing the details and how they had resolved the situation.
"Becky," she began, her voice laced with concern, "I just need to ask... despite everything that's happened, do you still have feelings for Freen?"
The question hung heavy and unexpected in the air. Tears welled up in my eyes, threatening to spill.
Taking a shaky breath, determined to be honest, I replied, "Yes, La," my voice raw with emotion. "We love each other. I can't blame her for the sins of her father, or ours for that matter."
A warm smile touched my grandmother's lips. "I understand, dear," she said, using the term of endearment that always brought a lump to my throat. "Thank you for opening up to me. It's clear Freen feels the same. Whatever path you choose, my love and support are always with you, Becky"
Her words, filled with unwavering love, sparked a flicker of hope in my chest. With a grateful hug, I said, "Thank you, La, for being here with me, for taking care of me and for everything." I said to her and she responded with a warm embrace.
After our conversation, I retreated to my room and started to prepare.
Today was our graduation, but the excitement was muted. Instead, I found myself drawn to a box filled with memories: photos, letters, and a necklace-a gift from Freen.
Holding it up, a wave of emotions washed over me. Sadness for lost time, anger at the circumstances, but most of all, a deep, unwavering love for Freen. A bittersweet but genuine smile curved my lips as I wore the necklace and checked my reflection in the mirror.
Yes, despite the hurt and complications, my love for Freen remained strong. And as I stared at my reflection, a silent vow formed in my heart. Graduation might be a milestone, but it was just the beginning. We would weather this storm together. We would start over.
I'm ready to accept her again.

Freen's POV
The weight of the situation pressed down on me as I watched Becky leave with our friends.
Relief washed over me knowing she was now safe, but tension coiled in my stomach as I waited for Jordan and his father to finish the agreement. Time seemed to stretch endlessly, each tick of the clock an agonizing reminder of the graduation ceremony rapidly approaching.
Finally, Jordan emerged from the office, a scowl etched on his face. He wouldn't meet my gaze as he signed the document, his hand shaking slightly. His father followed, his expression grim but determined.
"Thank you for your help, Sir," I said, extending my hand.
He grasped it firmly. "Freen, I apologize for my son's behavior. I will ensure he faces appropriate consequences for his actions."
"Thank you Sir, that means a lot," I replied, a flicker of hope igniting within me.
With the agreement signed and sealed, I thanked Heng's father and rushed out of the police station. The sun beat down as I sprinted towards home, adrenaline coursing through my veins. Every step felt like a race against time.

Reaching our house, Tita Susan greeted me with a relief face, I just told her that everything's okay now, she understood and just asked me to get ready.
I threw open my door and scrambled to get ready. Flinging on my graduation gown, I glanced at the clock - 30 minutes to go until the ceremony. My heart hammered in my chest. Would I make it?
