Chap. 2

Julianna started yelling at the top of her lungs, screaming for help. She even yelled Camrin's name out of panic and fear.

But then the doors slammed shut, silencing her cries...

——————

"LET ME GO!" Julianna yelled in between sobs. She looked up in front of her and saw 2 men with black masks on, dressed in all black.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" She asked while crying and backing into the corner of the van.

"Relax, we're not gonna hurt you if we don't have to. And if you keep yelling, then we're gonna have to." One of the men said as the other looked out the window to make sure they weren't being followed.

Julianna heard the tone of the man's voice, it didn't sound like he was lying. So she listened, she sat in the back of the van with her knees to her chest and silently cried.

She looked around the van, there were things on the wall of it. It looked like a workers van. She buried her head into her knees and cried. "Why are you guys doing this to me." She mumbled.

The guys with the black masks looked at each other and then looked at Julianna. She peered up at them, her head still in her knees. They both looked back out the window, ignoring her question.

She felt helpless. She couldn't do anything to save herself without the possibility of getting killed. She lifted her head up from her knees and looked around the van once more, then she looked out the window.

They had just passed Camrin's street.

Something about the fact that Camrin's house was right there, right in front of her, made her blood boil.

Then she thought about it. They must not be that far, right? What if she made a break for it now and ran to Camrin's house?

She really debated on doing it, but then the rational thoughts flooded her head. 'They obviously have the doors locked.'  She thought.

But from then on she promised herself that she would find a way to escape. She promised herself she would find her way back to Camrin... and her family of course.

——————

The car jolted to a stop, like someone had quickly pressed on the break petal.

"Turn around." One of the masked men told her, pulling a pair of handcuffs out of his pocket.

Julianna stared at the cuffs in the man's hand. There was no way she was putting on handcuffs.

"Remember what I said. Turn around." The man said sternly. Julianna's mind immediately went back to the time the man had told her that if she didn't listen she would risk the possibility of getting hurt, or killed even.

She reluctantly turned around with tears in her eyes. The man slapped the handcuffs on her, making her jump. He then pulled her out of the van with him. She then realized that there was 2 more masked men that were in the drivers and passengers seat of the van, and they had opened the door for her.

The other masked man followed them outside of the van. She quickly looked around, trying to make sense of where she was. Directly in front of her was a big building. It looked like a warehouse.

Before she could look around anymore, a bag was quickly thrown on her head.

Tears started to roll down her face again, how was she supposed to escape this place if she didn't know where she was.

Julianna and the masked man began to walk forward, towards the building she assumed. She tried to count the amount of steps they took before the reached the door.

46. They had took 46 steps before she felt herself being pushed into the building. She ended up tripping and falling from the force of the push.

She immediately noticed the ground. It was concrete. She then noticed the door slamming behind her, it sounded heavy. Like metal.

She heard voices around her, like she was in a public place. "We got her boss," One of the masked men said out loud, another grabbed her and pulled her to her feet. "She's been cooperative the entire time." The same man said.

She heard a chair being pulled out, like someone was getting out of it. She then heard footsteps coming towards her. They sounded familiar, like she had heard them before.

Loafers. The man walking towards her was wearing loafers, her dad wore them all the time. She memorized the sound of his footsteps.

"Did she now?" The man said with a thick British accent. Her eyebrows furrowed, 'British?' she thought. She knew a British man, but there was no way this was him...

The man pulled her head up and snatched the bag off of her head, making eye contact with the man.

"Hi Juli. Long time no see." He said with a smile.
