"sorry, i'm late!"
seokjin exclaims as he slammed his bag over the counter, exasperatedly panting as the club members chuckled out of delight with his reaction.
byulyi smiled bigger though.
♡
"sorry, i'm late."
seokjin grumpily hisses as he plops down the catch beside byulyi while sandeul is preparing dinner for the group.
byulyi snickers, tilting her head to check on him as he blinks- raising both of his brows as well.
she then offered him a tub of the popcorn, seeing him sheepishly grin before accepting it.
♡
"sorry, late again."
seokjin embarrassingly whispers, sinking down the seat in front of byulyi as she shrugs, accepting his apology before asking if he's done with his practice.
he sure is done- and is ready to get wasted.
♡
"ah, late!"
sandeul exclaims, seeing seokjin silently slipping onto the other side of the table, seeing byulyi avert her eyes away from him.
she just confessed her feelings, but she didn't want to hear a rejection.
so she remained adamant on talking just like how he does.
♡
"wah... i'm late."
seokjin murmurs softly, shaking off the droplets of rain from his hair as he fixes his coat, seeing the rest except for one.
byulyi.
for the first time, his heart hurts from the two months of no talk, he knew he misses her.
but he couldn't figure his feelings out.
"byulyi's away, she's been sick." heeyeon speaks, as seokjin could feel his stomach churning.
♡
"hey... i'm early."
it's been ten years, and he's early for the first reason as soon as the cemetery opens.
"i'm in for ten years and consecutively an early-bird."
seokjin murmurs softly, lowering the bouquet of flowers in front of the graveyard, byulyi's picture engraved on the tile as he sat on the grassy field, talking to her.
"... now i'm stupidly mumbling how i love you for the past ten years."
he clicks his tongue, whispering one last time.
"sorry, i was late."
and there he breaks down for the umpteenth time.
