they used to ask why there aren't anything happening between them.

it was always playing around the words of not knowing and wishing they would know.

but right now, when they are busily associating themselves with other people-

most won't ask about the latter.

because nobody knows that there's a little spark being wished by themselves, too.

they won't be bombarded by pressure on how things are supposed to go-

because no one knew.

so when only the two of them knew that something was about to happen only for it not to-

nobody still knew.

and when they parted apart for a reason they both weren't sure of-

nobody really knew.

the silence around them became uncomfortable, and even some were noticing how this avoidance were too obvious.

but to them- maybe it was just the art of drifting apart and finally leaving it as a good memory.

but no.

byulyi knew that it wasn't just the art of drifting away.

it was the art of playing dumb until one of them gets sick of being repeatedly dragged-

until someone gives up.

so she tilts her head- watched the tons of messages flowing in her inbox on why she wasn't present during one of the most important event in his life.

and on why he didn't even bothered to tell them why.

because no one knew.

all she had to do is shut her phone down even when a multiple call from someone is disrupting her head.

pick up...

pick up...

pick up...

byulyi snorts, wiping a bit of her tear as she tells herself that no one knew except for her,

she thought it was something.

but maybe it was nothing now since no one even knew that it existed.

they were so afraid of saying anything about their little secret because if it turns out wrong and everyone asks about it, it will be real.

it will be over more than anything else.

so she could only smirk, smugly grinning to herself as she clicks on the music editing application as she stares into the screen.

this is the art of anyone not knowing.

you can erase something that exists and just let it vanish because it looks like it never even started.

but when she heard the door suddenly slamming open- her eyes went wide- turning to the culprit as their gazes meet.

her perplexed ones-

and seokjin's frustrated ones.

yeah.

this is the art of not knowing.

you can always start it all over and just leave whenever you want to.

or need to.
