This is a Bad Idea

Just realized that i've been spelling Yaz with a S, but only some of the time, so sorry for that, It's just going to be Z now. -A/n

Rain pours. Everyone's in panic, we run around trying to think of what to do. Yaz and Kenji carrie Sammy out of the rain, under camp laying her on a folded blanket propping her head up with another blanket.

"Somebody get some bandages!" Darius shouts over the panic

"Sammy, everything's gonna be okay." Ben says to her

"Yaz! The quills are poisonous. We gotta take them out of her." Brooklynn gets her attention. Yaz places a hand on the quills "Okay, on my count. This is gonna hurt. I'm sorry. One, two, three!" Brooklynn speaks and Yaz yanks out the thorns causing Sammy let's out a small scream and begins shivering.

"Sammy, we're here. Everything's gonna be okay." Yaz cups her face. As Sammy eye flutter open and close.

"Taking out the quills wasn't enough. The poison's already in her system. She needs an antidote!" Darius shouts getting everyone stop panicking

"Oh, sure, yeah, an antidote. That'll be easy to find, considering no one even knew this thing existed." Kenji rolls his eye

"Maybe the medical supply station has something?" Ben asks

"Doubt it." Kenji spoke

"Kenji's right. The Scorpios rex wa-" Darius gets interrupted

"Antidote!" I shout, my mind finally settling from the panic "When Wu got stung! There was a box on the wall!"

"What? Where?" Yaz stands

"Wu's lab on the video there was a white box on the wall with an antidote in a red vial." I shout as fast as I can

"Where is this lab?" Yaz grabs my shoulders

"Near the raptor paddock." Brooklyn pulls out the map pointing towards the construction site. Yaz take the map from her, examining it quickly.

"down on the bottom floor, two flights of stairs, the first door on the left, labeled 'doctor Wu'." My voice slowly picking up speed as I talk.

"Take care of Sammy until I get back." Yaz gives the map back a runs to the fence

"Wait, Yaz! The Scorpios went that way!" Kenji yall

"I don't care what's out there. I'm saving her." Yaz yells back as she pushs through the fence.

"This is nuts! She can't outrun that thing." Kenji panics

"We have to figure out a way to help her somehow. Okay, think. What do we know so far about this dinosaur?" Darius asks

"It's straight-up terrifying, it climbs, breathes like a pug with a cold, and it moves weird." Kenji micked it

"But when the lightning hit that tree..." Brooklynn points out

"It didn't run from it, it went towards it, almost like it was hypnotized for a sec." Darius explains "That's how we'll clear a path for Yaz, only our explosion will be better, bigger, louder, fierier."

"I'm in. I know the jungle better than anyone. Plus, bigger, louder, fierier... those are all my favorite words. Try to keep up." Ben smiles run out of the fence

"You do realize that this plan of yours is a complete long shot." Kenji points out

"Yeah. But we gotta try, right?" Darius shrugg's chasing after Ben.

"Good luck." Me and Brooklynn yell. Sammy tosses back and forth me and Brooklynn crouch down next to her "Hang on, Sammy. Just hang on."
