Everyone crowded around River as he held up the Spellbinding Crystal. "This is the Spellbinding Crystal, it's made from a combination of fool's blood, a petal from the Starbloom, and a Mana Convergence Crystal all combined into one crystal."

With that remark, River cast a spell circle around it causing the Spellbinding Crystal to glow

With that remark, River cast a spell circle around it causing the Spellbinding Crystal to glow. While River did his part Nori cast her spell allowing a small ball of fire to spring from her palms. She held it over to River and he touched the glowing crystal to the fire and the flames were sucked right into the stone. River smiled at the group,

"The Spellbinding Crystal can absorb a magic source and grant the user full control over said magic type."

River held the crystal up high and with it a wave of fire shot out and began to shift and change, shifting from a wave to a stream to a ball, from red fire to blue to white. Aria leaned forward her face in awe the bird on her shoulder copied her movement.

Tom watched with a smile on his face. "River this is amazing can it store multiple different types of magic at once?"

"Unfortunately no, when a new type of magic is stored in the crystal it flushes out the previous type," River explained.

Tom shrugged "Still with this there are all sorts of things we can do with it, we could have unlimited access to magic potential. Imagine with this we could take healing to a whole other level."

Hunter's face stayed neutral but his tone sounded aggressive "Or it could be used as a weapon."

Tom shook his head "Still it's impressive that the two of you managed to make something like this by yourselves."

River scratched the back of his head. "well we didn't do it  with just the two of us."

"What do you mean?" Steve asked

Nori walked back over to stand next to River. "Well, this all started because I was asked to find a way to safely remove fools' blood so they could search the mines and pull out minerals without risking setting the fool's blood off." She pulled out a strange drill-looking device.

"After I managed to remove the fools blood successfully I found out that fools blood is simply just clumps of titans veins filled with the titan's bad bacteria which makes the veins fragile and when broken it releases all of this bad and destructive energy which is why fools blood is considered so dangerous."

"See my drill was designed to remove the fool's blood by draining the chaotic energy out of it, which then made me wonder if we could put more stable magic inside."
