Nori stepped back a bit to let River take the spotlight. "I then came up with the idea of mixing it with a Mana Convergence Crystal, often used in healing to help focus magic to heal with better precision, and with some help from a friend with the measurements we had a working model."
"The problem that kept acuring was that while we were able to keep magic in the crystal the magic would fade and weekend fast. We had no idea how to fix it until we began to get letters." Said Nori
"From who?" Aria asked as the bird on her shoulder was captivated by the crystal's light.
"Nori shrugged "We have no idea we don't even know how this person found out about our project in the first place. They just showed up one day giving us ideas and methods to try which led us to the Starbloom flower."
"According to the mysterious author the Starbloom was used in gardens to keep magical flowers from wilting or weakening over time, we mixed it all together and it works all that's left is to bring it to the new council."
River walked over to a box and pulled out a fancy-looking envelope and pulled out a letter with very neat handwriting. "We have tried to reach out to give whoever this is credit but they have refused and we still have no clue as to who is sending these."
Tom plucked both the letter and envelope from River's hand "I could probably ask around the new government, I try not to get involved with them anymore as I have had my fair share but sometimes they still ask for help and I have a few people who owe me some favors."
River shook his head "That's really not necessary if they don't want to be identified then we should probably leave them be.
Tom pocketed the letter "If you say so."
After the questions were done River put the crystal back in its safe and everyone left the little shed. Tom and Steve got on Steve's motorcycle and they rode off. Hunter shook Nori's hand as Aria hugged River goodbye. The bird on Aria's shoulder turned to stare at River twisting its head back to the shed before flying off into the sky.
"By Mr.Bird." Aria waved as she turned back to River and Nori.
"This was fun we should get together more often."
River nodded "Yeah we should it was great seeing you guys again take care."
Hunter and Aria got on their palismins. Hunter nodded before leaving with Aria flowing close behind shouting down.
"You too."
Nori leaned on River as they watched the two slowly disappear into the sky.

Once they were gone River and Nori checked in on Elena before retiring for the night themselves ready for the calming day ahead of them.
The next week was a doozy.
At work, things were hectic as the number of patients they had increased by 70%.
