Lorelei was at her locker when Quinni ran over, the two went over to Sasha's the other night and realized she wasnt Bird Psycho but Quinni wanted to make sure
"Ok! I just crossed off Sasha as a suspect for Bird Psycho. Meaning we only have seven names left on the red list"
"Isnt that the one full of our prime suspects?" Lorelei questioned, Quinni nodded
"Oh! There was a note in Amerie's locker" Quinni said passing the paper to her
"Sometimes you need to walk through fire to be reborn" Lorelei read off the paper, handing it back to Quinni, "So Bird Psycho isnt done yet?" she asked closing her locker
"Nope. You thinking what im thinking?"
"Take everyone's handwriting and see if it'll match?" Lorelei questioned, Quinni nodding excitedly
Lorelei, Harper and Amerie were walking up the train stairs on their way home, "Do you reckon people would be angry at me if i dropped the case?" Harper wondered
"People are always angry no matter what you do"
"This is your life, Harps. Nobody else's. You dont need to defend yourself to anybody. Who cares what anyone else thinks?" Lorelei shrugged
"I only care what you two think"
"So... what do you wanna do, Harps?" Lorelei questioned stopping her from walking
"I... wanna put this behind me and get on with my life. I wanna drop the case"
"Then that's what you'll do"

"Too massive for now. What's going on with Malakai and Spider?"
"Oh, God, no. You dont need to hear me bang on about that boring crap" Amerie chuckled
"No, no, With everything that's going on, i just wanna talk about stupid teenage stuff again. So spill. Every tine, boring, dirty, freaky detail" Harper chucked

Dressed in shorts, a cropped tank top and converse Lorelei regrettably joined the cumlords for the day, and they were digging a fucking pit.
She mostly enjoyed watching Spider, how his muscles flexed every time he used the shovel, or the veins in his hands whenever he dug deeper
"Did sir say how big the hole was supposed to be?" Malakai spoke up, breaking Lorelei from her trance

Voss cleared his throat, "listen, ive gathered you all here cause i wanna talk to you about pain. We know what it's like. We're used to being strong, having to act tough like we dont feel pain but i know men, and men feel. Men feel hard" he said stepping into the pit. Now, this hole is a judgment free hole. Whatever it is that's bothering you, that's too painful or too difficult or scary to say out loud, write it down, because today, lads, is all about burying our feelings!"
"So, Lor, whatchu writing?" Ant asked looking at the girl
"Nothing" she said showing him her blank paper, "You?"

"All right, boys, Lorelei, pens down. Now, we are not archaeologist. You want to dig deep, but not too deep. So it's time to say goodbye to these feelings forever" Voss said, everyone crumbled/folded up their paper and tossed it into the pit
"I actually feel lighter" Spider admitted
"Me, too. That or im hungry" Ant shrugged, "Real" Loreleinodded
"Very good" Voss nodded as everyone grabbed their shovels, burying the papers
