Alisha and Isha had been chatting happily, showering each other with love and laughter. But suddenly, Alisha saw someone behind the curtain and let out a blood-curdling scream.
Alisha felt a shiver run down her spine as she saw a shadow move behind the curtain. She gasped and pointed, her voice trembling with fear.
"There's someone there, Isha! I saw them!" Alisha exclaimed, her eyes wide with panic.
Isha, trying to maintain her composure, walked towards the curtain and pulled it aside, revealing an empty space. She turned to Alisha, her expression calm but concerned.
"There's no one here, Alisha. It's just your imagination playing tricks on you," Isha reassured her, trying to alleviate her sister's fear.
But Alisha's hands were still shaking, and tears welled up in her eyes. "I know what I saw, Isha! I'm not making it up!"
Feeling a pang of worry, Isha gently placed a hand on Alisha's shoulder. "It's alright, Alisha. Maybe it's just a trick of the light. Let's take a deep breath and try to calm down, okay?"
Alisha nodded, but her fear lingered in her eyes. "I can't shake off this feeling, Isha. I'm scared."
Isha reached for her phone, determined to seek help. "I'll call Zafeer. He'll know what to do. Just stay with me, Alisha. We'll figure this out together." She felt a rush of protectiveness towards her sister, wanting to reassure her and keep her safe.
Alisha clung to Isha, her heart racing with fear. "Please, Isha, don't leave me. I don't want to be alone."
"I won't leave you, Alisha," Isha promised, pulling her sister close. "We'll wait for Zafeer together. Everything will be okay. We'll get through this."
Together, they stood in the dimly lit room, facing the unknown, but united in their bond of sisterly love and support.
Zafeer arrived just in time, leaving his incomplete work half done, as he found their room scattered and Isha trying to calm Alisha down. He quickly assessed the situation, his heart sinking at the sight of his wife in distress. Without hesitation, he went over to Alisha and gently carried her in his arms, laying her down on the bed. Alisha held onto him slightly, pleading for him not to leave her alone.
Zafeer's heart ached at seeing Alisha in such a state. He stroked her hair tenderly, his voice soft and comforting, "I'm here, Alisha. I won't leave your side, I promise."
Isha watched on with a mixture of relief and concern, grateful for Zafeer's presence. She whispered, "Thank you for being here, Zafeer. I was so worried."
Zafeer gave Isha a reassuring smile before turning his attention back to Alisha. He knew they needed help, and without hesitation, he decided to call the doctor. When the doctor arrived, Zafeer explained the situation, his voice tinged with worry.
The doctor examined Alisha and diagnosed her with shock-induced mental instability. With a heavy heart, Zafeer accepted the doctor's recommendation of giving Alisha sleeping pills to help calm her nerves. As he watched over Alisha, ensuring she was comfortable and safe, he couldn't shake off the feeling of helplessness.
Isha sat by Alisha's side, offering a comforting presence. She whispered to Zafeer, her voice filled with concern, "Do you think she'll be okay, Zafeer? I've never seen her like this before."
Zafeer nodded, his expression determined. "She's strong, Isha. We'll help her through this. We won't let her go through this alone."
Isha glanced at Zafeer, her eyes reflecting a mix of emotions. "I don't understand how this happened so suddenly. She seemed fine just a few hours ago."
Zafeer sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "I know, Isha. It's just... sometimes these things happen without warning. We have to be there for her, no matter what."
Later that night, as they took turns keeping watch over Alisha, Isha spoke softly, "Zafeer, do you think she'll ever be the same again? Will she be able to recover from this?"
Zafeer's gaze remained steady as he replied, "I don't know, Isha. But what I do know is that we'll be there for her every step of the way. She's not alone in this."
Zafeer and Isha found themselves deep in conversation, sharing memories of happier times with Alisha and reaffirming their commitment to helping her through this challenging period.
Isha looking at zafeer, silent gesture of support. "Thank you for being here, Zafeer. I don't know what I would do without you."
Stop being so formal, I'm her husband you don't have to thank me. It's my responsibility to take good care of Alisha and ensure that she's fine. Zafeer said, wondering if Alisha is going to be fine or not.
Together, they stood United, facing the unknown once again.
Isha and Zafeer sat together in silence, the only sound being the quiet whirring of the ceiling fan above them. The clock on the wall ticked away the minutes, reminding Isha that it was already late at night.
"I should go home," Isha said, breaking the silence. "It's getting late."
Zafeer nodded, gratitude in his eyes. "Thank you for staying with Alisha and me. I appreciate it."
"Don't mention it," Isha replied with a smile. "Just take care of Alisha, okay?"
Zafeer nodded solemnly. "I will. And hey, please don't tell Mom about Alisha's condition. She'll just worry unnecessarily."
Isha understood Zafeer's concern. "I won't tell her. I'll just say I stayed late to help with homework or something."
Zafeer smiled gratefully. "Thanks, Isha. You're a good sister."
Isha bid Zafeer and Alisha goodnight before heading towards the door. Zafeer called for his driver to drop Isha home, ensuring her safe return.
As Isha left, she couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for leaving Alisha and Zafeer alone in their difficult situation. But she knew that she had to take care of herself too, in order to take care of others. And with that thought in mind, she left, knowing that she would always be there for her family no matter what.
