"Oh geez, you scared me!"

"Choji..." He began slowly. "You're scaring the guest."

"Wait a minute, you are the girl whom I spoke to on the phone days ago!?" He grinned brightly, pointing at me. "You are right? You are! Yes, you gotta be!"

He must have devoured a whole store of sugar.

I nodded. "Hi, Choji, right? Sorry, I only know you by your first name."

"Tomiyama," Togame intervened. "He's our leader."

The tiniest one among them was the leader.

"Oh my gosh!" Choji continued. "Oh my gosh! You're Kame-chan's friend then, right!?"

"I...yeah, you can say that," I replied, watching his puppy-like excitement.

"Choji~" Togame stepped between us. "Calm down, you're over the top."

Choji leaned closer, and put a hand next to his lips like he was going to whisper something. Well, what did I expect anyway? His words came louder than intended and everyone craned their neck to us.

"Kame-chan, do you like each other!?"

Togame and I blinked at him.

"Hell nah!" I denied.

Meanwhile, the taller boy beside me let out a low chuckle. "That's such a bold assumption."

Choji looked a little disappointed but he recovered quickly. "So, what's your name?"

"[Last name] [First name]."

"So, so [Last name]-Chan, what do you do!? Like what's your hobby?" He hopped in a circle around me like a dog.

"Choji, you can't just bombard [Name] with-

"Tell, tell!"

"She might not be able to-"

"Tell me what sort of things you like too, like candies and sweet drinks! Do you like curry too!?"

The black-haired boy sighed. "You gotta listen to me sometime too-"

"[Last name]-chan, tell me!"

"Yeah, you like sweet things...not obvious at all," I remarked.

He laughed.

Well, I don't understand why he was so interested in someone like me. An academic failure with too many hobbies.

"Well, to begin with, I do everything except studying." I pinched my chin, mulling. "I like reading books, even mangas and manwha, I like sports too, I play basketball, volleyball, baseball, track running and more, I also like video games, baking, crocheting-"

"Do you know how to fight?" He asked promptly.

"Uh, no, I don't."

His face melted into disappointment. "Ah, man...that boring."

"What did you just say." I scowled. "I'm boring?"

"Sorry but yeah, you are..." He pouted as he tilted his head to the side.

"Sorry, what!?" I barked. "You little prick, say that again!"

He replied in a sing-song tone. "That you are boring~"

"See, see this is why you can't grow another inch!"

"Hey, that was offensive!"

"Serve you right!"

We both huffed and pointed at each other as we snapped our heads to Togame, in a 'he-she-is-being-mean-to-me-again' manner. Mentally complaining to him about the other person.
