Scared To Be Lonely (Jax x Reader)

Reader's POV

I'm not sure what time it is, but I feel like I'm well rested... I think.

I rubbed the sleep off my eyes, took off the covers from my body, and got up.

I looked around the room for a second, and just now it finally sink in. It wasn't a dream, nor a hallucination. It was all real, I'm actually stuck in a digital world...

I tried pulling off the headset that I put on yesterday, but all I'm really doing is pulling on my head and hair.

"Keep grabbing at it, it all worked for us." A small chuckle was heard, the voice startled me and made me tensed up.

"I know it's you, Jax! You creep." It was too early for this... To deal with this bunny rabbit.

"Did you *boink* watch me sleep?!" I asked hysterically.

"No, I just got in here like... 4 hours ago? Yeah sounds about right." Jax answered.

A knock was heard from the door.

"Hey Y/n. Are you up?" Ragatha's muffled voice was heard from the other side.

Jax opened up the door for Ragatha.

"Yeah, she's up." Jax then casually walks out of my room.

Ragatha looked at him in horror.

"Wai- What were you doing in her room?!" Ragatha yelled at him, but Jax just dismissed it.

Ragatha looked at me questionably.

"He has a key to my room!" I said in a sarcastically optimistic tone, giving her a weird smile.

"Right.. He has a key to everyone's room." Ragatha then rubbed her temples on frustration.

I walked out of my room to join her on the way to the main hall.

"So, how was your first night?" Ragatha began.

"Creepy." I answered with a sour face.

We then saw Gangle and Pomni emerging from their rooms.

"Who was yelling?" Pomni asked groggily, while rubbing her eyes.

"Oh, it was Ragatha. Jax was in my room while I was asleep." I answered.

"What the *boink*?" Pomni commented.

"I know, what a great start of the day!" I sarcastically quipped.

We all made our way to the main hall, and there was Zooble, Kinger and Jax, already at the table.

"Good morning!" Kinger greeted.

"Good morning everyone!" Gangle greeted back.

"If only it was." I said in a sinister tone, while glaring at Jax. 

He wasn't paying attention, but I swear I saw him chuckle to himself.

"First day here, and you already look crazy." Zooble commented.

"Don't worry about it, it's my normal face." I smirked.

I took my seat in between Gangle and Ragatha.

I didn't really feel like eating, since it was pointless anyways. I just grabbed my fork and stabbed the food on my plate.

"Aren't you going to eat?" Gangle asked.

"No. This is just depressing." I just placed my elbow on the table and rested my chin on my hand.

After pushing food around for a couple minutes, I let out a heavy sigh and pushed away my plate.
