"Anne's doing the drinks? Oh, for God's sake. Anne's measures are too small." Liz complained.

"It's not Glastonbury, Liz," Kevin mentioned.

Liz argued, "Exactly, it's a bloody school fundraiser. We need alcohol, Kevin. Proper measures."

"You were the one who said Anne should do the drinks last time."
"I was going off her being Irish. That was before I knew her."

Julia notices someone in the distance, "Am I going insane? That looks like Caroline Lacy."

Liz notices too, "Caroline, yeah. Ruben's Mum. They must be back from Thailand."

"Thailand?! For a family holiday? Jesus," I thought outloud.

"Caroline Lacy goes to our school?"

Liz asks, "Do you know her?"
Julia scoffs, "Do I know her? How do you not know her?"
"I do know her. We're talking about her because we know her and you don't."

I actually don't know her, the only things I actually knew about Caroline Lacy were the stuff written on TV Tropes and various Wikias, but I guess that counts as knowing her.

"Eh, excuse me Liz. I know her. We started in the same company together. We were quite close at one point. Until she won every bloody award going."

"That doesn't mean you know her..."I murmur under my breath.

And then there went Julia to talk to Caroline.

"She remembered me!"

Liz disagreed, "Didn't say your name."

"What? I'm sure she did."

I added on, "Hate to agree with Liz but no. Unless your name is 'Around'." Taking other character's lines is kinda fun.

I'm sitting at the café with the others, with Liz and Julia giggling at Liz's wedding video and Kevin staring at the other table. I'm trying to get some work done for another client.

Kevin mentions, "I think that's the meeting for the fundraiser. Shouldn't we be over there?"

Liz brushes it off, "I'm doing drinks, you're doing cloakroom, Manaria's doing snacks, why do we need to go to a bloody meeting? And don't complicate it, Kevin. They hate it when you complicate things."

Julia comes back over with a slice of cake, "Why would you want to get involved?"

Liz answers, "Well, you have to do your bit."

Julia still questions, "Do you, though? Do you really?"

"Yeah, you do."

"Yes."

Kevin decides to go over there anyway, "I'm just gonna go over and... I'll just go over."

Julia looks over at me, "What're you drawing there?"

"Oh, just something for one of my clients. They wanted me to design a pair of twins, and then didn't give me extra details. I am getting compensated alot for it though, so I went for it."
