From Across the Universe (Kylo Ren x Reader)

          Kylo's fleet marched a day later on the sands of the planet the being had said. They found the rebels exactly where the force had told him with enough weapons and ammunition to fuel a small militia against The First Order's occupation.
          Kylo couldn't help but wonder how the being had sensed where they were hiding but was pleased nonetheless. Finding someone that could use the force in ways that were unfamiliar to him did not happen often.
          All of these thoughts lingered in Kylo's mind as he made his was across The Finalizer to report back to Supreme Leader Snoke. He paused at the entrance of the room making sure to clear his mind of any lingering thoughts aside from The First Order. Gritting his teeth behind the black mask he entered the large set of double doors to greet the familiar looming hologram.
"Master." Kylo announces his presence and moves to kneel.
          "What is your progress in the fight against The Resistance, boy?" The image of Snoke sneers waisting no time.
          "The rebels were tracked down thanks to an informant of The First Order. When I found the planet the rebels were hiding on, my fleet descended to kill any trace of resistance. The mission was a success. The First Order intercepted a shipment of weapons to their allied forces." Kylo recites.
"Good, The Resistance is desperate for allies across the galaxy. They have to travel far to find a planet that will give them the supplies they so desperately need to continue this foolish war." Smoke says his raspy voice becoming distorted through the transceiver. "But... That's not all is it?" Snoke questions.
"No master." Kylo's jaw tightens realizing The Supreme Leader was clearly reading his turbulent thoughts.
"You have been distracted these past few days, unfocused on the cause of The First Order. That is foolish of you." Snoke scolds in a mocking but deadly tone. Trying to control his growing anger Kylo takes a breath choosing his next words very carefully.
"Yes master, there is a force that has been trying to connect with me. It is unlike anything I have ever felt before, neither light nor dark. I cannot sense where it comes from but I believe it is hidden in a faraway system." He explains not caring to mention the deal he made with this being to know where the rebels were hiding.
         "You believe this force to have great power... It is most probable that the being behind this call is trying to turn you for their own motives." Snoke says. "However, I also sense how great their grasp on the force must be to reach out to you from across the galaxy... They would make a great ally for The First Order." Snoke trails off.
"I agree master." Kylo replies.
"It's settled then. You are to find this being and make them turn to the dark. Use whatever means necessary to ensure their aid in the cause of The First Order. If all else fails, kill them." Snoke commands.
          "Yes master." Kylo nods standing to take his leave from the holographic throne room.
          "You shouldn't have much trouble boy... It wasn't too many years ago when I once did the same to you." Snoke says stopping the black clad figure in his tracks. Kylo grits his teeth with a fresh reminder of his own descent towards The Dark Side.
     With that, the hologram switches off and Kylo is left alone once more. The tall dark ceilings of The Finalizer loom over him as his thoughts return to his time as a Jedi. Pushing the memories aside, Kylo sets his sights on finding the being connected to him through the force no matter the cost.

The sound of Kylo's footsteps echoed as he made his way towards the command center. The mechanical doors slide open to reveal a room full of First Order staff, quickly becoming silent after noticing his presence. The only one who dared to speak was General Hux.
"To what do we owe the pleasure of your presence sir?" Hux coughs a sarcastic remark to break the silence.
          "The Supreme Leader has changed our mission. Cancel our charted course and focus on routine patrol." Kylo states barely bothering to turn his head to address Hux.
          "What are we looking for sir?" Hux questions clearly upset that their course has been interrupted.
          "Something very important to The First Order."
