There was silence at breakfast this morning.

I didn't dare talk about the previous day's events and Takemichi seemed completely defeated.

After a good 5 minutes of awkward blankness, I summoned up my courage.

-Say, little brother,' I asked.

He flinched and gave me a tense 'yes?

-Why did you hit Kisaki yesterday?

My brother avoided my gaze.

These words echoed those Baji had spoken the day before.

-You and Kei are the same,' I sighed.

The two hours of maths had just finished. Ending the day with that wasn't what you'd call a dream afternoon.

I looked at the clock and had time to go to the café.

They were waiting for me outside the classroom, poor things, it took me ages to put my things away.

The twins, Yuna and Tenshi, put on a sorry face.

-We can't, our aunt arrived this afternoon and we have to go and welcome her,' explained Yuna, taking me in her arms.

The twins shuffled off.

I got up and took my bag with me.

-At the cemetery,' I smiled.
