"Beomie-hyung, are you... uhm... okay?"
Beomgyu quickly wiped away the tears that had streamed down his soft cheeks and forced a smile at the younger male, Jake. He adjusted his seating position next to him on one of the benches near the back of the university as they were organizing the printed copies of their research paper.
"I-I just got something in my eye. Sorry about that. What were you saying?" he said to Jake. The young male crossed his arms over his chest.
"Tell me, you have a problem, don't you?" Jake asked, scrunching his nose.
Beomgyu immediately averted his gaze. "N-No, nothing... I don't know what you're talking about." he deflected. Jake didn't seem to believe him and took his hand.
"I'm your friend, Beomie-hyung... and even though I've only known you for almost a semester, I know you well. Tell me, I'm ready to listen. It's not good to keep all that hurt inside." Jake softly caressing his hand.
As if on cue, the tears started to fall from Beomgyu's glossy eyes again. Jake immediately hugged him. Before he knew it, he found himself telling Jake about the arguments he had with Taehyun.
"Then how did that happen? Are you sure you didn’t fill out the application paper?" Jake asked in bewildered.
Beomgyu nodded, sniffling. "Y-Yes, I’m sure. I... I really didn’t have any plans to fill it out." he gripped his thick jackets, remembering the night before. "Jake, I-I'm scared..."
He was just as surprised and confused when he received an email from the university abroad saying his application was approved. That’s what Taehyun saw on his laptop, which made him angry.
Beomgyu really had no intention of filling it out. He had already decided not to leave because he couldn’t bear to be away from Taehyun for a long time. He also knew that Taehyun couldn’t leave the country because he had just started managing the business entrusted to him by his brother Dongmin.
He's obviously got puzzled out and didn’t know how the application got submitted to a university abroad.
However, Taehyun didn’t give him a chance to explain, he left the mansion and hasn’t come home for several days. Beomgyu hadn’t received any texts or calls from him. He tried to reach or contact his phone, but the younger didn’t answer his constant calls.
Changbin had tried to find Taehyun, but even he couldn’t locate the younger male. Beomgyu also asked for help from his siblings, but they didn’t know where he was either.
He was getting worried about him. He was afraid that his old illness might flare up because of him. Beomgyu was scared.
“Sshhh, don’t cry, Hyung... Maybe your boyfriend is just cooling off. He’ll come back. Don’t cry.” Jake comforted him, patting his back softly.
Beomgyu hoped so. He hoped Taehyun would come back to him. Even by the time school ended, he was still spacing out. He asked Changbin-hyung if the younger had called, but the older man said no. Beomgyu felt even more disheartened.
When they arrived at the mansion, it was still quiet. There wasn’t anyone around. Taehyun still hadn’t come home. He felt weak as he sank onto the sofa.
Taehyunah... where are you?
Are you doing fine, right now?
I miss you so much...Please, come back home.
A light tears escape in his eyes again. He missed Taehyun's sweet smile and the way the younger look at him with pure love and affection. Last but not least, Taehyun's sweet touches in every corner of his body. The younger took care of him everytime like a fragile doll and his only one princess.
