The others sat there in silence before looking up at him. Akari just sighed before leaving, not a single word but he could tell that she was not fond of what he did. 

Yuta: Seriously? We were joking when we said you were obsessed you know?

Jaehyun: I never said I was with her-

Yuta: You live with her! Care to explain?

Jaehyun just pursed his lips, unable to even imagine giving a satisfactory answer without outing Eunbi. Yuta scoffed and got up.

Yuta: I can't believe this.

He walked away too and Jaehyun just sighed before looking at the others, waiting for more blows. 

Jungwoo: For all I care, I don't think its your fault for finding someone else. If I had the your father I would too.

Everyone turned to him as he just shrugged and tossed a candy in his mouth before heading upstairs. 

Daeri: Dad can't hate you that much. 

Sicheng: You'd be surprised. 

Daeri: What, but-

Sicheng: The fact that you don't know and we, not even direct family see it, should be reason enough. 

As he stared at Daeri, she just sighed and stood up, facing Jaehyun. 

Daeri: I'm not against you, Jae... But I'm not against dad either.

She too, left and only Iseul and Sicheng were left in the room. 

Jaehyun: You don't have something to say?

Iseul: I saw the kid.

Jaehyun's face contorted to a frown as he fully faced Iseul.

Sicheng: Kid? You have a kid now?

Iseul: I don't think she is his.

Jaehyun: Why would you go there?

Iseul: Haechan took me. 

Jaehyun: Hae-... oh... that's why she said your name too... 

Iseul: For what?

Jaehyun: Wait... so you're coming from there? Why?

Iseul: She looked scared... even cried. So we left.

Jaehyun: I'm... I'm gonna go. 

Sicheng: Are you not going to explain-

Jaehyun: Later!

Jaehyun opened the door with the spare key Mina had given him and he walked in. The room was silent with only noise from the cartoon. That and the dimly lit lights were the only reason for sight. 

Mina sat on the couch, and for the first time, since he could remember, she had tear stains on her cheeks. She had Eunbi cuddled into her while she rocked back and forth. 

Jaehyun: Mina? 

Her eyes met his but just as quickly she looked away. She didn't say anything or even look back at him. Mina just stared at the TV and it was freaking out Jaehyun for more than one reason. 

He's never seen Mina behave like this... and more to it, he has only ever seen this in his mom... before she went crazy from all the physical and emotional torture.

Jaehyun didn't know what to do but he quickly had made a decision that he needed Mina to talk and hopefully relax at the same time. 

Unknown emotions were controlling Jaehyun because he was genuinely so scared. He didn't know why... but he had a small debate in his head and the side saying it's because it was Mina was winning.

Gently, he pulled Eunbi away from Mina, only to notice the small girl fast asleep. After letting the girl rest on the bed in the room, he walked back out to see Mina leaning back on the couch, eyes to the ceiling.

Jaehyun: Mina? 

He whispered and she closed her eyes, a shaky breath leaving her lips.

Mina: Uh um... just give me a few minutes.

Jaehyun: Okay...

He said softly before sitting next to her, body turned to her while his eyes looked over at her in worry. And at par with her words in around five minutes she sat up and cleared her throat. 

Mina: Sorry... I... I'm fine

Jaehyun: Clearly not. What happened? I heard Eunbi cried but what happened to you? Was there another threat?

She was silent for a moment, just staring at the television. 

Jaehyun: What happened-

Mina: I keep seeing that night in my head... the night dad was... um killed. 

She took in another shaky breath. 

Mina: And I don't even know why... its like my brain is knocking for evidence that it was not your father... I don't even know why... maybe its because I want to forgive you. Maybe its because I can't hold you to it.

There was a silence and the longer Jaehyun stared the longer he felt something. 

Mina: But at the same time it hurts my morals to even be sitting next to you. As if I'm betraying my father. 

Jaehyun: I...

Mina: No... Its... I'm sorry. 

 Jaehyun: Listen that deal we had... it was stupid because I can't guarantee that my father didn't do it... its just that I'm not proud of anything he does. Heck the sight of him angers me.

Mina: He's not great... after what you told me with your...

Jaehyun: Mother? Yeah. And not great for potentially killing your father. 

Mina couldn't help but chuckle as he did too. Though almost immediately a silence fell and he could tell that she was thinking about something.

Mina: How much do you hate him?

Jaehyun: Hm?

Mina: Your father?

Jaehyun: I... don't know. But a lot more ever since my mom muttered the words. 

Mina: Do you want him dead?

There was another silence before he took in a shaky breath. 

Jaehyun: You're not going to kill him are you? I mean you could but I don't think Daeri will forgive me. 

 Mina: I'm not going to kill him. And why will she blame you for me killing him?

Jaehyun: Because my entire household thinks that we're together.

There was a short silence.

Mina: Same... Well just for the ones who know... So... Just Mark and Haechan.

Nothing was funny but the two ended up laughing.
