misunderstanding || itafushi ?

3rd person's POV:

"NOBARA!" Yuuji screamed from the living room.

"WHAT?!" She screamed from the kitchen.

"Can I look through your gallery?"

"Sure, but don't dig in personal albums."

"Sure thing."

Yuuji unlocked her phone as he opened the gallery. He is trying to find pictures that Nobara took. He opened the app, seeing bunches of albums. Each album has different names for various situations. When he scrolled up a little bit more, his eyes caught an album which was named Itafushi. He frowned and clicked that album quickly. The album contains five thousand photos of him and Megumi. Most of them are kissing in every corner of the house. Yuuji's jaw dropped; he didn't know how he should feel, terrified or amused. Yuuji scrolled up a little bit more, reaching his birthday time. From his birthday, there was only one thing that caught his attention: a video and a bunch of pictures that were screenshots.

His eyes widened.

The video that he watches now makes him scream and jump around. He covered his mouth, watching the video again and again. When he got to his senses, he left his room, running to the kitchen. The way he ran fast, he almost tripped over on the stairs.

"Nobara, you bitch!"

"What, asshole?!"

"How the fuck did you get that video and never even bothered to tell us!"

"What video?" Yuuji played the video, showing her.

"Drink, drink, drink!"

Megumi took the cup and drank alcohol. He can't stand the smell of alcohol, but today, for Yuuji's birthday, he wanted to give it a try. Megumi drank three cups of alcohol. He was starting to feel dizzy. Luckily, he was sitting on the floor.

"Hey, hey!" Yuuji screamed, gaining everyone's attention, "Stop making him drink. Don't you see that he is already drunk?!"

Yuuji stood him up by lifting him under his arm, tacking Megumi's arm around his neck, and taking him to the loo. On their way, Megumi pushed him, leaning him against the wall. Yuuji is a little bit drunk and Megumi's sudden action surprised him.

"Do you know that you look like my crush?"

"Who is your crush?"

"He also has pink hair, sparkling, big brown eyes, and he is also kind and helpful. But~, you can't replace my gorgeous Yuuji." He hiccuped.

"If I recall, you don't know anybody named Yuuji or a pink-haired guy other than me."

"Can I kiss you then?" Megumi asked him, avoiding eye contact. Yuuji looked at him with wide eyes, saying nothing. Megumi sighed, and then suddenly he smashed his lips into his.

Megumi cut off the kiss, leaning on his shoulder, drifting to sleep.

"Oh, that video. Well, I was drunk too, so I didn't even remember that I took that."

"That means we are each other's first kiss."

"Ugh, please, stop."

Yuuji started to jump around, doing silly dances and mumbling victory sounds.

He stopped when he heard the door being opened. He ran to the lobby, seeing Megumi taking off his shoes. Yuuji hugged him and swayed him right and left. Megumi hugged him, patting his back. Yuuji backed away, showing him the video. Megumi stood, as he was lost in thoughts, trying something to say. He covered his mouth, looking back and forth between Yuuji and the video.

"It makes sense."

"What makes sense?"

"When I kissed you at the park, I felt déjà vu, and also..." he paused, looking away, "Also, I was recognised by your soft lips." Megumi was blushing from his cheeks up to his ear tips.

"Megumi~, you are so cute, my love." Yuuji hugged him tight again.

Megumi looked at Yuuji on his right side, "I can't be cuter than you. You are the most precious and loving person." Yuuji smiled at him, kissing him on the lips while pulling him closer by the waist.

"I want to take you somewhere."

"As a date?" Megumi nodded, "But you just came home."

"So? Are you making excuses now?" Megumi raised an eyebrow.

"What, no! I swear, I am not."

Megumi started laughing, "I'm just kidding, sunshine." he kissed his cheek, "Now, go and get change." Yuuji loosened his grip on Megumi, running upstairs.

After waiting like five minutes, Yuuji came downstairs. He put his shoes on. The couple held their hands while walking out of the yard, going to the train station.

"Did you just take me to the aquarium date?" Megumi nodded as he smiled widely, "Megumi~, I think I will have my best date ever."

"I'm glad to hear that." Megumi reached out his hand, "Let's get in." 

Yuuji took his hand as they entered the building.

When they got inside, they were intercepted by a large and long corridor covered by huge glass, where the sea animals were swimming freely. The way they got mesmerised by the sight, they even couldn't take their eyes off the place.

Megumi took out his camera, taking Yuuji's photos. Yuuji was walking around, smiling and getting excited like a little kid, and Megumi was looking at him from afar.

"Megumi, look at this!" Megumi ran up to him, watching the silly-faced fish. Yuuji took out his phone, and opened the camera, taking Megumi's photos without his knowing.

"Let's take a picture," Yuuji said.

Yuuji stood on the left side of Megumi, taking a selfie. They even took a lot of videos of them walking around, minding their own business. From time to time, Yuuji was stealing kisses from his boyfriend, walking beside him while jumping.

After a few minutes of exploring around, they stood somewhere. Megumi took Yuuji's hand and caressed it with his thump.

The blue light reflecting from the water was making the whole place romantic and attractive. The way the blue light was reflecting on their faces, making them stare at each other longer than usual. Megumi was looking at Yuuji like he was the only one that made him feel alive and loved. Regarding everything, Yuuji will always be the only one who makes his heart race, doing stupid things for him, getting him blushing, laughing at his jokes, and getting him smiling whenever he talks about the he loves or gets excited.

To Yuuji, Megumi is his strength, the only person that makes him like he is the most important person for him, making him feel less insecure, making him feel confident. He opens up about everything to him, knowing that Megumi would never judge him. Another way, he would listen and remember the details. Yuuji even gets up early to spend more time with his lover.

Megumi sighed.

"What is wrong?"

"My heart doesn't listen to me. It beats so fast, because of you," he reached out Yuuji's hand on his heart, "Can you feel it? It beats for you, and just only for you. Sunshine, you are my past, my present, and my future. This heart will beat for you constantly and endlessly." 

"And you are my treasure, my other half. I will always see you as my soulmate, and cherish my whole life with you." Yuuji took his hand to his mouth, brushing his lips briefly and gently on the top of his hand, kissing it.

Megumi held his face, kissing him gently on the lips, hugging him tightly, "I love you so much, my sunshine."

"I love you too, my soulmate."

Furthermore, they are each other's lights that bring the sun to their darkest days.
