From Forced to Something Real

「Felix's POV」

Hyunjin rushed past me and went into his room. I rolled my eyes, and went to grab a plate. I filled it up with pancakes and poured syrup over it. I added whip cream at the top, and got some berries.

As I was eating my breakfast, I saw Hyunjin come down. "Where are you go-" before I could even finish my sentence, Hyunjin had rushed out of the house. "What could be so important that he's rushing so much?" I said, rolling my eyes.

After finishing breakfast, I placed my plate into the sink. Then, I went over to the giant sofa and sat down. I started scrolling through my phone before someone called me. 'Father? Why is he calling me?' I thought. I picked up the call.

"Felix?" He said.

"Yes, father? Why are you calling me?" I asked.

"Did you forget the original plan? Also if your at a place where everyone could hear us, go somewhere private. We need to talk." He said sternly.

I sighed and got up from the sofa. Walking to the bathroom and entering it, I locked the door behind me and said, "What is it."

"Have you gotten any information about them yet?" He asked.

"Well, no. I haven't gotten anything out of them yet-" I said before getting cut off.

"What?! NOTHING?! Felix, there's got to be something! Why can't you just do your one job properly?!" He yelled at me through the phone.

"They don't trust me yet." I said, "I need to give them some time to trust me. Then they'll start opening up to me."

"Ugh, you better prove yourself worthy to carry the Lee legacy." He said, clearly annoyed.

"Yes, yes. I got it father." I said before hanging up the phone.

I sigh, 'Well, that phone call just ruined my morning.' I thought. 'I should go out for a walk to calm down.' I thought as I was unlocking the bathroom door. I stepped out and made my way to the front door. I left the house and started walking around mindlessly.

*10 minutes later*

I had been walking to nowhere in particular for the past 10 minutes trying to clear my mind. And when I finally decided to check where I was, I was somewhere unfamiliar. I didn't know where I was, and decided to try and make my way back. I passed by a dark alleyway, and decided to take that shortcut.

As I was walking, I felt someone's presence behind me. I snapped my head around and saw no one. But I still felt uneasy. I continued walking and then I decided to speak up when I heard footsteps. "You know, if your trying to sneak up on me, take lighter footsteps." I said.

Then, when I turned around, someone jumped onto me and muffled my mouth. I tried kicking and fighting back until I heard him speak.

"Felix! Stop fighting! It's me! Jeongin!" He said.

I looked at him in disbelief. "Innie?" I said. "What are you doing here? And why were you sneaking up on me?!" I questioned.

"Lix, I'm on a mission and saw you walking around. Our target is somewhere here." He said, looking around.

"Our? Is Seungmin with you?" I asked.

"Yea, he's here with me." Jeongin said as I heard more footsteps coming towards us.

"Hey Lixie!" Seungmin said.

I waved and then hugged them both. "What are you doing here Lix? Aren't you suppose to be with the Hwangs?" Seungmin asked.

"I went out for a walk and got lost. Father called me this morning asking for info. And you know, I like taking walks to clear my mind." I said to them.
