More than anything

Start from the beginning

"So anyways, this is our room and this is my side." I said showing him around.

"I like the lights." He smiled pointing at the fairy lights.

I looked at him noticing his features soften as he hit more comfortable. He acted like a closed off tough guy but when you got to know him he was sweet and thoughtful.

"Wait I'm just gonna go change for dinner." I said reaching into my dresser and grabbing a black mini skirt and white baby tee. I went to go change in the bathroom and threw on my black Mary Jane heels.

"Let's go." I smiled walking out the bathroom.

"You look gorgeous." He smiled kissing me hard with his hands on my neck making me blush. We'd been together for a few months and still be made me blush and get butterflies.

"Thank you." I smiled as we pulled away before we left the dorm.

"Let's go to the park." I said as we walked through the door.

"Come on." He said pulling me along before we walked into a pretty park with lots of trees.

"This is Washington park." He said as we sat onto a bench.

"It's so pretty and surprisingly quiet for New York." I said as I looked around at the nature.

"I always came here to read when I lived in New York." He said putting his arm around me as we sat on the wooden bench.

"So, how's it been in Stars Hollow?" I asked.

"Fine, town ran out of snow cones for a few days and town went ballistic. You know, the usual." He smirked.

"Oh sounds serious." I joked making him chuckle lightly.

"You know, I had this  amazing ballet class yesterday." I added looking in his eyes with a smile.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yep, the teacher said I did well at the end of class. That never happens in ballet." I said proudly.

"That's great." He kissed the top of my head.

We walked back to my dorm after 2 hours to meet Leila and found her sitting on her bed watching tv.

"Hey, you ready?" I asked.

"Yes, let's go." She said grabbing her bag and walking out the door me and Jess trailing after her.

We walked out the front door noticing the 2 boys leaning against the building.

"Hey." I said.

"Hello Matilda." Said Finn pushing himself off the wall his eyes trailing over to Jess who was standing next to me.

"This is Jess, my boyfriend." I said introducing him.

"Finn." Finn said shaking Jess' hand. Jess nodded before going back next to me.

"So, shall we leave?" Asked Colin.

"Let's go." Smiled Leila as they led the way to the restaurant.

"Jess?" I asked realising that he was trailing behind all of us.

I stopped and turned around, standing in front of his body.

He leaned down and kissed me softly holding my waist. I pulled away looking him in the eyes and asking.

"What's wrong?" I rubbed his cheek with my hand.

"Nothing." He grumbled looking down at his shoes.

"Jess, come on." I softly smiled lifting his chin with my finger until his eyes hit mine.

"I feel like... like I'm intruding. I'm not supposed to be here." He said in a quiet voice.

"You're not intruding, I want you here more than anything. I love you and I want to spend as much time with you as possible this summer." I said as his eyes softened.

"Yeah?" He smiled softly.

"Yeah." I smiled as I put my hands around his neck and kissed him gently.

"Come on." I said grabbing his hand as we caught up with everyone else.

I squeezed his hand gently making him smile softly.

We sat down at a table in the corner of the restaurant next to the window. I sat next to Jess and across from Finn.

"Welcome to Olivia can I get you started with some drinks?" Asked the waitress walking up to our table.

"Dirty martini." I smiled.

"Make that two." Said Leila.

"Whiskey sour." Said Colin before Finn did too.

"Jess?" I asked glancing over at him.

"Club soda, thanks." He said resting his hand on my thigh.

"I'll be back in a sec." She smiled as she handed us menus.

She left before returning with our drinks on a platter and handing them all to us

"To new friends." Colin said raising his glass.

"Cheers." We all said in unison.
