I was stirring dinner when Einar came up behind me hugging me as I inhaled his scent " you know your scent never fails to amaze me" I said resting my head on his shoulder behind me " and what scent might that be" he said

making me realize 14 years ago damn that's how long it's been that we had a similar conversation in his office " you know we've been here before " I said turning around and placing the spoon on the lid before sitting at the island " he still had his hands around me as if he was scared to let go as I sat down

" you know when I told you that you smelled like warm salted chocolate" he looked at me removing his arms away from my waist and turning my chair around so my back faced the island while he leaned in inches away from my face I didnt even need to guess how red I was

" you mean the day you openly admitted to being awake the night I screwed you " he said a sly smile curving it's way to his lips I could feel my face was hot and it was not from the steam of the food

" u-uh -um ...ahm yes , yes that is exactly the day I'm talking about" I stammered quickly as leaned closer to his face

" yes the exact night I fucked you so hard you couldn't walk the next day " I was happy with my comeback . incredibly happy when he uncaged his arms from locking me in the chair to stumbling back it was his turn to have a tomato laced face now. I gathered my courage and walked past him while he stood dazed after what I'd said . I leaned into his ear a smile creaping onto my lips " I can do it again of course if you want the kids will be gone 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 ~ " I said backing away to turn the stove off before making my way upstairs and to the shower Einar running behind me
It felt nice having that man still wrapped around my fingers .
