Pedri POV
After finishing an extra training session with Gavi and Ferran, I sat down in the locker room, feeling the weight of the past week. We'd all been so caught up in games and training that I hadn't had a chance to call Valentina. It had been a week since we last spoke, and I felt a pang of guilt as I dialed her number.
The first time I called, she didn't answer. I tried again, but still, no response. On the third try, she finally picked up. "Hey," she whispered, her voice weak and strained. I immediately knew something was wrong.
"Valentina, what's going on?" I asked, my concern growing with each passing second. There was silence on the other end, and then I heard her start to sob softly. My heart clenched, and I instantly asked her to send me her location, but she tried to brush it off, telling me she was fine.
I unmuted myself and walked over to Gavi. "Hey, do you know where Valentina is?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.
He looked up from his phone and said, "This morning, she mentioned she was moving into her new place."
"Do you have the address?" I asked urgently.
"Yeah, I've got it," he replied, already scrolling through his messages.
"Send it to me," I said, not wanting to waste another second.
As soon as Gavi sent me the location, I unmuted the call and spoke to her gently, "Valentina, I'll be there in ten minutes. Stay on the line with me, okay? I'm here with you."
I could hear her try to steady her breathing as I hurried to get to her, keeping her on the call to make sure she didn't feel alone, even for a moment.
As soon as I arrived at her house, still on the phone with Valentina, I spoke up softly, "Tina, I'm here. Open up." I listened intently and could hear her footsteps approaching the door. When she opened it, my heart sank at the sight of her—her eyes were puffy and red from crying. Without a word, she stepped aside, motioning for me to come in.
The house was nearly empty, with just a sofa in the living room, evidence that she'd only moved in today. She walked toward the kitchen, trying to compose herself. "Do you want something to drink?" she asked, her voice shaky.
I followed her, watching as she reached for a cup. Gently, I stopped her, placing my hand over hers. "Tina, what's wrong? What happened? Please, talk to me," I said, searching her eyes, which brimmed with tears.

She looked at me, her lips trembling as she struggled to find the words. My mind raced with worry. Did something remind her of Luna? Or her parents? I needed to know what was tearing her apart.
