Another Isekai Story: TFP

Everything was spinning, at least that's how Miles felt when she first opened her eyes. A green build board showed the town’s name “Jasper Nevada” smacked right dead in front of her.

“This is crazy.” Miles said to herself. First, she slapped her face to see if she was dreaming; second, she yelled out for Teletraan -1 but the A.I. didn't respond.

“I guess I have no choice but to walk.”

Just as she was about to start moving, Miles felt a device in her hoodie’s pocket. ‘A phone?’ she thought to herself. When she turns it on, an Autobot symbol pops up. Miles yeeted the phone across the road.

That's when a blue motorcycle with pink stripes bypassed. Whoever rode the bike ignored the human by the sign and avoided smashing the phone into bits. Miles took a breath she didn't know she had.

“That was Arcee, the girl robot! I forgot she's blue in TFP! But if she's here… that means Cliffjumper is already dead which also means Megatron and his drug addictions are coming to earth.”

Eyeing the phone on the road, the woman hesitated to pick it. She takes another look before turning it on — it's the Autobot symbol again. The screen changed in colour and showed a banner.

Four stars, five stars, different weapons you can get. What is this, Genshin Impact? Miles looked at the in-game currency: Cyber coins and Engeron. By having 1600 Engeron you can make a 10 pull.

Miles faced sour, she ignored the pulling system and went for the characters in the archives. Oh crud, TF victory is on here and Armada whilst have the original G1 cast. What happened to the TFP cast? I guessed you can't get them, big oof.

Pulling her courage together she made her first 10 pull. The phone glowed a purple hue forcing Miles to shut her eyes due to how bright it was.

“It was about time you used the gacha mod.”

Miles shot her eyes open to see a 7ft tall robot. Her knees weaken out of fear seeing the thing.

“Whoa” the Cybertronian caught her in time before she fell to the ground. “I must say, this is the 4th time an Adult entered here, usually it's mostly teens and kids.”

Miles pushes the robot off her, her eyes scan the robot until sighting the Autobot symbol. “Friendly?”

“Yes, yes! I'm friendly, I know I look imitating to you but I promise I'm not going to hurt you.”

It was like a loading screen was on top of her head. She wanted to glance at the phone but she was in shock mode.

“Hey, let's get you out of this sun. Look, there's even a town up ahead!”

“Wait, wait, wait. Time out! You're… Rewind! One of Blaster’s Mini-Cassette. Why are you in this continuity?!”

“I could say the same thing about you.”

The human’s eyes widened by his words. Startled by his 4th wall breaking but then again, nothing is making sense right now.

“Human” — Miles looks up at him — “I know everything is confusing for you right now but I'll explain everything later, you just have to trust me. I'm already added to your party. I'll transform into my alt mode so you can carry me.”

With that being said, Rewind turned into a cassette and pulp himself onto Miles’s palm. The woman wanted to yeet his aft away just like she did with the phone earlier but remembering what Teletraan -1 said, she decides against it.

The human got to the city of Jasper, seeing a non-existent town come to life. It would have been cool if she could feel her body in the real world; moreover the thought that she's sucked in a game sends shivers down her spine.

“Ahhhh”

The woman turned head, spotting a boy on the blue motorcycle from earlier being chased by two cars.

“Rewind?”

“Ignore them for now, you don't want to get caught in the storyline. Try to be a background character.”

“I don't get this, and are you really self aware?”

“Something like that. Don't worry, I'll show you more of the mods I installed.”

That didn't make her feel any better but continued with his advice. While wandering around the town, Miles tried to figure out how this game works. Every now and then Rewind would tell her tutorials about his mods and how they as well as the in game currency works.

It was a shame that the only way to get Engeron was by doing quests that involved Cybertronians (at least having Rewind would make it easier).

“My feet hurt. I hate the fact I'm going to spend the night homeless…” Miles whined.

“Find us alleyway, I can take care of you from there.”

Miles wanted to protest the idea, too bad her options were limited. Looking up into the evening sky Miles ponders about Teletraan -1 and what happened to the A.I. would she see it? She turned to the back ways hidden from human prying eyes.

“Would this do?” She asked whilst taking the Mini-Cassette out of her pocket.

“Yes! This will do nicely.” He said as he transformed into robot mode. Rewind looked at her shirt. “You really like ‘Transformers’, huh.”

On her shirt it says “Autobots roll out… 84”. The woman’s expression changed causing her companion to regret what he said. “It's the last thing my dad loved.”

“I'm sorry for your loss.”

She sighs, “The pandemic is bringing out the crazy out of everyone even I had a bit of cabin fever.”

“I'm sure they'll be making a vaccine to help reduce the virus.”

“Yeah, way too soon to be called safe…”

Rewind reaches out his servo to her. She holds it only to realize too late that he had her laying down on his lap.

“Wait a darn minute!” Miles blushes, rushing herself to get off the bot. “Why would you do that!?”

“I thought you would rather sleep on me rather on the filthy ground.”

Miles couldn't stop blushing and decided to lay on his lap. They both got themselves in a position that both benefit from; however Miles felt embarrassed to be in such a situation. Although, hearing the Mini-Cassette spark beat helped her calm down then eventually into slumber.

Rewind stroke her hair before supporting her back once again. ‘I might have failed the others, but I'll save you. I won't let him kill you’

Flying out of the Space bridge, Megatron transforms into his robot mode watching the Nemesis in full view. He clutch his servo into fist. “So it has begun.”
