Another Isekai Story: TFP

"You don't get it, you're not real! Nothing will change the fact that you will always lose to Optimus, in every single continuity. Even if you were a good guy, Optimus — Ehk!"

The human who spoke those words cried against the servo's of a Warlord. Their bones crushed as blood dripped down the sides of metal.

Megatron opens his optics to the sight of a luminous night sky; outside of his ship seeing the planet called Earth below him. It all becomes a nightmare — again and again — why can't he win for once? Remembering what that human said, he curled his servo into a fist.

"You're not real!"

How many times has he heard that? The players that he's killed would always say something back or that one time an adolescent chose to side with the Decepticons.

"Not real"

"It's just a game! You're not real!"

Game... a game... Megatron chuckled before roaring with laughter, it all makes sense. He understands why he calls them "players", because it's all a game.

"I thought I was going mad because of the loop. A set in stone script that I couldn't escape from... it's all in common now."

Such a shame, his original goal was to kill the new Player, but now, all he seeks is answers and freedom.

"Lord Megatron, I have something to report to you."

Megatron turned around facing the vehicon, "Report"

"There's a new Autobot who has a human companion."

The warlord stares down at the soldier. He honestly didn't care much for such news; however, the new Autobot who comes and joins Team Prime is Wheeljack who is not here yet. This cycle is different, "Capture them."

"Yes, sir."

Miles falls to her knees finally soaking in the oxygen. The cat is not out of the bag yet, she looks at her phone still seeing the side quest tab. She switched over to the gacha, wanting so desperately to pull another character, anyone that can do some degree of damage or a healer for crying out loud.

As the adrenaline went away, tears started to roll down her face — it felt too real, she doesn't want to die! This isn't a game anymore and before she knew it she called out his name.

"Rewind... I'm sorry."

The mini-bot placed his servo on her back, "Miles, it's alright to feel scared."

"Not like this! I- I was in denial, I still feel like I'm in denial. This isn't normal, this shouldn't be real!" — she looks up at the Autobot — "you shouldn't be real and here you are."

Rewind wanted to say something to her but if he did, the words that he'd say would kick him out of the game.

"It's a lot to take in," Miles continued, "Usually stuff like this happens in anime. I wanted to pretend that it was like any VR game like VR chat or FNAF: help wanted. I could just log out of the game... and... and..."

Rewind saw the pop-up screen beside his human. He pulls her closer into his frame, "Breathe Miles, Breathe," he said calmly.

He held her hand, rubbing it and gentle motions. Rewind looks up again, the display screen is still there. He remembers Chromdome having these episodes, normally it helps staying calm by his side until his spark calmed down.
