Chapter Seven

Quickly going through his phone he stepped out of the elevator when it dinged.
Walking to the door he opened it and stepped inside.

He fell in love with this penthouse everytime he steps inside. The whole place is truly a masterpiece, he outdid himself here.

Dropping his laptop and tablet on the table he slumped on the large couch that could serve as a bed and couch at same time, groaning at the softness of the material.

"Shit.. I need food!" He muttered picking up his phone to order some before changing his mind and picking up his car keys and heading out.

Xavier punched in the ground floor as he got into the elevator.
He got off when the elevator stopped and walked through the lobby as he made his way outside.

The building was almost empty now as almost everyone had retired for the day except few who were working extra hours.

As he made his way outside he noticed someone standing by the side, he dint need to look twice to know who it was. He walked up and stood beside him.

"Is cancer finally getting a cure?" He said a little loudly in Kyle's ear making the poor boy almost jump out of his skin.

"Jesus!" Kyle jerked looking at Xavier who was laughing at him now.

"Sorry. I dint mean to scare you" Xavier tried to control his laugh as he slowly calmed down "You just looked so serious"

"I was just in my head, I do that a lot" Kyle said looking flushed as he checked his phone again.

"Why are you still here" Xavier asked looking at Kyle now as he noticed the worried expression on his beautiful face "shouldn't you be home now?"

"I'm waiting for my friend, he is supposed to pick me up but he is stuck in traffic" Kyle said pouting slightly "I dint drive today"

"Oh. Let me drop you then" Xavier said as though it was the most natural thing.

"You don't have to bother, he will be here soon" Kyle quickly said "I don't want to be a bother"

"You are not bothering me. Wait here let me drive around" Xavier said waving him off.

Walking to his car Xavier started the engine and drove to where Kyle was standing "get him" he said through the window

Kyle opened the door looking unsure and got in. He looked around the car immediately brightening up.
"Damn!" He whispered loudly "Your car is beautiful! I've never ridden in an Aston Martin before"

Xavier laughed watching the younger boy fawn over his car "you like it?"

"I love it!"

"Well, good thing I like the picture of you sitting down in my passenger seat with your eyes sparkling happily" Xavier looked at Kyle grinning "I will definitely give you lots of rides in the future"

Kyle looked away as he felt color crept up his face. He wonders if the older man was flirting with him.
Why does he always have to blush so easily anyways. He blames it on his pale skin.

Xavier smiled as he noticed the blush on the boy's face, he is so cute.
He knew the boy had been staring at him in the office earlier and even though he isn't an expert at emotions and doesn't know if the boy liked him or not, he definitely knows what lust is and the boy was staring at him with lust there. Pure lust, that much he was sure of.

He still has to be careful though, he doesn't know what this is between them and until he is sure to an extent he has to keep his hands to himself.

Xavier started the engine as he started to drive.
"Come to dinner with me" He said as he drove "I was actually going to eat before I saw you and I know you haven't eaten because we have both been working. So why not come eat with me and then I will drop you after" Xavier finished as he turned to look at the younger man briefly

Kyle was shocked at first and then frowned a little as he looked at the older man searching his face, trying to know what was going on in the other man's head but finding nothing

Xavier continued driving as he waited for Kyle's answer. He turned slightly to look at the boy who was watching him and Kyle looked like he was about to say no.

"Okay. Let's go eat" Kyle finally said.

Xavier smiled feeling happy for no reason as he drove to a restaurant he was a regular at. Stopping at the entrance they both got out and Xavier gave his key to the valet.

They walked into the restaurant that looked very expensive but cosy at same time.

"Mr Maxwell! Welcome" A waitress beamed at him "will you like your usual spot"

"Yes please" He said with a smile as they followed her to a private corner by the edge of the back, it was more of a vip area.

"Wow" Kyle fake gasped almost whispering " They even know who you are"

"The owner is a friend of mine" Xavier chuckled as they sat down. He has discovered that Kyle was sassy when he is not being nervous and he liked that side of him too

"I Come here when I just want to eat in peace privately, have been with Marcus a few times and their food is absolutely delicious"

"I'll take your word for it" Kyle said looking at the restaurant.

"Are you ready to order?" Xavier asked him as the waitress came back to take their order and Kyle nodded.

Dinner went well as they discussed about random things, and laughing occasionally.

It was the first time they were hanging out outside work and Kyle really enjoyed Xavier's company because the man was easy to talk to.

"It's the weekend, I'm guessing you would be resting at home or going to the gym with your friend" Xavier leaned into his chair as he sipped his wine.

"Probably. I will likely stay home though" Kyle answered "I'm guessing you will be at the gym. You look like the kind of guy who doesn't miss gym day"

Xavier laughed lightly.
"Nah. I will be working the whole weekend. I want to finish those projects this weekend, I really hope I'm able to"

"Oh. I can help you, it will finish more faster if I help"

"No. I don't want to impose, don't want to take away your time with your friends or significant other, I will try and finish it myself'

"You aren't imposing, and I really want to help. Besides I don't have any plans this weekend"

"Are you sure" Xavier looked a little unsure, he dint want to take advantage of the boy.

"I'm very sure" Kyle said smiling "So what time do you want me there?"

"Mmm.. anytime tomorrow is okay" Xavier was amused and thankful "It's not your work day so anytime you can come is fine. And thank you."

Kyle smiled as they finished the rest of their meal and Xavier drove him home, dropping him at the front of his apartment as they bade each other goodnight..
