"They are ready for you boss"

"Thank you Adam" Xavier said to his secretary while gathering his things from his office "Let's go"

They both walked out of the office into the elevator to the second floor where the conference room is at.

Xavier is having a meeting with his architects today, they are already behind schedule but he needed to finish the online meeting with the client before they proceeded.
Xavier has been so swamped with work as he has been trying to complete some things and tie up some loose ends before his trip.

They got to the conference room and Xavier looked around the room searching for that familiar eyes, He smiles when he finds them, but the boy looked away immediately, Xavier frowned as he made his way to the front of the room.

He has had a feeling that Kyle was avoiding him, this was his first time seeing him after their little make out session at his place, they have been communicating on phone and email but it had been a little cold and strictly business, but Xavier dint look too closely to it as he knew they would be spending a lot of time together. But now looking at the boy, he wasn't so sure anymore.

Clearing his head and focusing, Xavier started the meeting.

"Okay that's all for today" Xavier said, the meeting has been going on for close to an hour now.
"Eli, try and correct the design, send to me when you're done so I'll check"

Eli nodded, he is one of the architects.

"We will be leaving tomorrow morning, speak to Jonathan if you have any questions, he will guide you"
Jonathan is one of the oldest Workers Xavier has, he is also one of the people that started the company with him and he was a good architect.

"I should be back by next week though" Xavier said ending the meeting "you all can go for your lunch break now, I know you are already fed up with my talk"

They all laughed and started filling out of the room in small groups.

"Kyle" Xavier called out walking towards Kyle and preventing him from leaving when they were the only people remaining in the room.

"Are you avoiding me?" Xavier asked perching on the table with his hands in his pocket.

"Ha ha.. I couldn't avoid you even if I wanted to. I'm your assistant." Kyle said avoiding eye contact. He knows he has indeed been avoiding Xavier but he wasn't about to admit it. His plan is simple, stay at least five feet away from the man and try not to be in a private place with only him.
He had hoped if he did that his feelings will go away and the chemistry between them will hopefully just translate to good working compatibility.

Kyle hadn't known it will be this hard. the minute Xavier walked into the conference room Kyle had known he was fighting a loosing battle, all he wanted to do was go back to that moment at Xavier's house when he was all wrapped around Xavier and inhaling his scent and being kissed out of breath.
And now the man of his dreams is looking at him with those eyes that pieces his soul again, and Kyle is now questioning his decisions to stay away, will it be so bad to just let go and let himself feel.
Kyle has never been this frustrated and in a delemma his entire life.

"So you've been trying to"

"I dint say that" Kyle stuttered

Xavier studied the boy in front of him and he could tell something was off.

"Anyways you're going with me to Atlantic, Adam probably already told you, we leave in the morning, I will pick you up, we are going in my car"
