New Peculiar | Millard Nullings x F! Reader

Y/N's POV

Barron's last two friends were finally defeated by us but a certain redhead was frozen. Enoch kneeled down beside her and looked at her frozen body.

"Olive!... Olive!" Enoch cried as he shook her but she wouldn't wake up. We all were in a group now, watching the scene unfold and looking at them with pity.

"I'm so sorry Olive.. All these years I never appreciated you. I didn't see how lucky I was. I got so used to having you there. I never realized.." Enoch said to her, giving her a kiss. Olive's eyes slowly flutter open, looking around then at Enoch.

"You never realize what?" Olive asked him which put smiles on all of our faces, happy that she was alive. Oh but Enoch, he was the most happiest.

"Sorry to interrupt but can you two make sure the kids get to safety? I gotta help Jake and Emma. I'll come back if we need help and Olive, I'm happy your alive and well or else this douche would be moping around more than before." I said playfully which made Enoch roll his eyes and Olive giggle.

I teleported to Emma which ended with me finding her, trapping Barron against a wall with a powerful gust of wind.

"Death for Jake and Miss Peregrine while everlasting life for me!" Mr. Barron yelled out

"When do you ever shut up?" I asked him annoyed as Emma was out of breathe.

Mr. Barron looked at me offended but didn't actually care. He started walking over to us but we ran away to the stairs. Mr. Barron continues until he stops at a door, looking at us one last time before trying to open the door. I took it as my chance to teleport us to the others, having a little bit of energy left. We ended up in a hallway that lead to the entrance of the Blackpool Tower building.

"Jake needs help! Barron's too strong and I obviously can't defeat him with my teleportation" I say as me and Emma are with the others.

"Let's go. Stay here with the others Olive, you as well Y/N. We'll be right back" Enoch says as he goes with Emma to help Jake, leaving me with the others.

I start to tumble and sit down by a wall, supporting my back on it. Everyone rushes over to me to check if I was ok. "You ok N/N" or "Everything ok" was heard from some of the kids.

"I'm fine, thanks thought. Is Mills around?" I say with a smile as I lean my head back.

"He just went out to get your bag and change real quick, he'll be back" Hugh answered as him and Fiona sit down beside me while the others did the same thing.

I nodded and decided to relax for a bit but it was interrupted when I heard footsteps. Olive heard them too so we got up fast as we could, making sure the children were behind us.

'Who's there?" Olive says as she takes off one of her gloves

"Hey guys, I brought the stuff" Millard says as he holds my bag up in the air and is back in his clothes. We relaxed when we heard his voice and Olive put back on her gloves.

"Jeez, thought you were another one of Barron's friends" I say as I sat down again while the others did the same.

"Y/N!" Millard says as he heard my voice and saw me. He goes in front of me and sits down with the bag beside him.

"Im so glad your ok.." Mills said as he hugs me

"I'm glad to see your ok too" I say as I hug him back

We pull away and I peck him on the lips with a smile on my face. We talk about what happened when we were away from each other while waiting for Emma, Enoch and Jake to come back safely. When they finally did, we all left to the loop entrance. This would be our last time seeing Jake since he was staying in 2016. One by one, we said our goodbyes until it was just me, Mills, Emma and Jake left.

"Stay safe out there Jake" I say as I hug him

"Oh and say hi to Abe for us" Millard says as he hugs Jake as well.

Me and Mills both waved goodbye, leaving the two of them to have one last time alone.

'Who would've thought that this would happen in only 2 days" I say 

"Really? It seems much longer than that" Millard said with a smile as he takes my hand in his. I giggled a bit at his response as we walk to the bridge connected to the ship. 

"You think Miss Peregrine's ok? I asks Mills

"Of course Love, she is Miss Peregrine after all. She raised 12 kids by herself for how long, I'm surprised she isn't tired of us" Mills replies which I smiled at.

We go up to the upper deck and stand by the railings.

"It's beautiful, isn't it" I say as I put my hand on the railing, looking out at the ocean.

"It is" Mills says in response. I looked at him, expecting that he was looking at the ocean as well but he was looking at me instead. I smiled softly, putting my hand on top of his. 

"I'll love you forever Mills... to the moon and back." I say to him

"To the moon and back as well for you, my love" he says then kisses me softly on the lips.

We pull apart and I rest my head on his shoulder while he leans his head on mine. I look down at our hands, seeing that we still have the promise rings on. We will always have them on.
