"Yes, just keep the files there and I am coming." With that she left, and I also went to the meeting room.

When I reached there, I saw an old man not so old, with white hair neatly combed. He was looking like a typical businessman shown in movies. With him was a woman too who may be just turned 30.

"Good morning, Mr. Thomas" I went inside and greeted him extending my hands. 

He just nodded. 

Rude. Whatever.

"Miss, start the meeting. I have more work to do."

Asshole, this is your work too.

"Sure sir."

.....

"Miss, we would like to take a leave." Huh!!

Leave and what about the feedback? I was panicked but didn't show. But before I could even answer he went. 

Isn't he way too busy?

But then that woman who was with him spoke in a very dry tone.

"We will tell you within few days about this deal." And with that she went.

What's wrong with people today.

After completing all my today's work, I was lying in my couch scrolling through Instagram with my Tommy beside me. But my mind was lost about today's meeting. 

Will I be able to make this deal? God knows what will happen.

And when I drifted to sleep, I don't know.

"Clara, were there any calls?" 

"No, miss." Hm fine.

"Ok"

I entered my cabin and sat on my chair and opened my laptop to start working after few minutes I got a call on my landline number.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Ms. Knights?" It was the same voice from yesterday. Rude and bored one. That woman. 

Suddenly, I straightened my posture while sitting.
"Yes, yes this is."

"I have called to inform you that Mr. Thomas has agreed to make this deal with you."

She couldn't have sound more bored and ruder. 

But wait, what????

Yes, yes you got the deal!!!!

"Really!!!" I shouted. I must have made her eardrums destroyed. 

"Sorry, sorry miss" I composed myself. But I was on nine clouds. "Anything else."

"No, but he is looking forward for further meetings."

"Sure." She cut the call, and I immediately called Clara inside and told her about this and she was as happy as I was. Then I instructed & encouraged the team to work harder on this.
