I was very happy. I went to my brother. He was the head of the software development department. I knocked on his cabin's door.
"Come in"
"Hey! How's everything going." I sat on one chair opposite to him.
"Good, but you seem way too happy, yesterday was the meeting what happened?"
"Exactly, yesterday was the meeting and today I got a call from there." I leaned towards him slightly and said in a whisper. "And guess what?"
He also leaned towards me slightly and whispered
"What?"
I leaned backwards and relaxed, he did the same. "Are you gonna say something."
I giggled. "Yes, I will."
"When? When this world will end?"
I sighed, he and his jokes. "No, stupid. Actually, I got the deal." I exclaimed.
His eyes widened and he got up from his seat to hug me. I also did the same and hugged him tightly. After parting. He said, "I knew it you will get the deal after all you are my sister."
"ughh, never leave a chance to praise yourself." He grinned.
"Ok, bro I am going out with Freida now to celebrate."
"Nah, not with her."
"It's ok, let it be."
"Fine, bye"
......
I was sitting in a restaurant with my so-called bestie, Frieda.
"Yes, tell me why you wanted to meet me." she said.
"Why, can't I meet my own bestie?"
"Of course, you can" she chuckled.
"Well, I wanted to tell you that I got the deal"
"REALLY??" she couldn't have been more jealous of me. She should be in Hollywood for playing a role of a bitchy friend.
Well, in that case she doesn't need acting, you know.
Right.
"Yes"
"Woah, I always knew you will achieve everything you ever dreamt of." She said with a fake smile. In my entire I never got a true friend who will genuinely be happy for me.
"Thanks, tell me about yours. Did you get any job."
She got a bit sad.
"Uh, nah people really can't see true potential these days."
Uh, yeah potential to make everyone's life miserable.
"Frieda, I offered you so many times to work in my company. But what's stopping you."
I think you know the answer.
