Currently, Alex is sitting on his bed while holding the yellow flip phone Ryan handed him.

Alex: "..."

Without much further, he decides to call Ryin with it.

*RING RING RING*

Then, Ryan picked up.

Ryan: //Hello?//

Alex: "...This is Alex. What'd you give me this thing for?"

Ryan: 'To probably get myself killed."

Currently, Ryan is shaving his face.

Ryan: '...It's too late to back out now though...' "Look- I'm gonna give you information, you're gonna give it to those kids, and then I'm staying out of it from now on, Understand?"

Alex: "...And why are you all of a sudden a bleeding heart?"

Ryan: "I'm not. I just- I didn't fully think things through when I got involved in all this mess, alright? Just shut up, listen, and be a good carrier pigeon."

Alex: "I'll carry a foot to deliver up your-"

Ryan: //Keep talking and I'm hanging up.//

PHANTOM DIMENSION
[CONTAMINATION FACILITY, ASHLYN AND CARTER'S ROOM]

Aiden: "What's it say?"

Tyler: "Stop pushing, moron."

Everyone is huddled up to see the note Ashlyn and Carter has, which annoys Ashlyn.

Ashlyn: (Annoyed) "All of you, go sit down. Now."

Carter: "And behave, please."

Ashlyn: 'Alex, Carter, and I came up with a method of communication since surveillance is so tight.'

Carter: 'Basically, Alex will put his notes in the laundry basket and we'll read it at night, or to be specific, in the phantom dimension.'

Ashlyn: 'Then we'll put our own notes in the dirty laundry during the day and he'll read them when he has privacy.'

As everyone, aside from the ginger and blue boy, sat down, theybstarted to speak up about the note.

Ashlyn: "He says they found our parents in a coma in the cells."

Carter: "..." 'That was assumed since, well, they said they didn't wake up after seven hours like us.'

Ashlyn: 'Since that night, our parents have been going through file and information, while we map out and memorize the layout of thr facility.'

FLASHBACK

As the seven main kids and Lily(being carried by Ben while talking with/entertained by Carter) explore and memorize the place, Aiden chases Taylor in a creepy manner, spooking her.

Taylor: "Stop running like that!"

Tyler: "Aiden, stop scaring my sister."

Present Carter: 'Also, Ben now has a whistle, yey!'

Present Ashlyn: 'And we finally located and turned on the backup generator.'

Present Carter: 'And because our parents won't wake up like they should've, we found something strange about the phantom dimension.'

Present Ashlyn: 'Things don't move around in the phantom dimension when we wake up in the human dimension.'

Present Carter: 'Instead, items stay the same up until 12 AM.'

...

Currently, Mike, who's now wearing the samr armor and clothing as the kids, is currently looking through files.

Present Ashlyn: 'Once 12 AM hits, objects that were on one place before,'

Present Carter: 'Will disappear and appear in another place if moved within 24 hours.'

Mike, feeling thirsty, reached out to the can of soda beside him, but it sudenly disappeared, indicating someone moved them within 24 hours.

Mike: (Annoyed)

Present Ashlyn: 'But, just like we'd already figured out before, if we already messed up with the item in the phantom dimension, then it doesn't move around anymore.'

...

As Ben, Lily, and Carter follow the rest, they remain unknown to what's about to happen.

Present Carter: 'But just because the lights are back on-'

Suddenly, a phantom grabbed and pulled Ben's left leg, making him and Lily fall.

*WHISTLE*

Ben: (VERY LOUD WHISTLE)

Carter managed to grab Lily in time, quickly set her down, and pull Ben by his arms.

Carter: "Get rid of that phantom hand! Begone!"

Present Ashlyn: '-doesn't mean phantoms arent still around.'

END FLASHBACK

As Ashlyn read more of the note, she suddenly exclaimed.

Ashlyn: "Well that's just great... So this is why we havent been able to access the higher-level information anymore even with the card."

Taylor: "What is it?"

Carter: "Apparently, the previous higher-ups went into a coma, so now Maverick has that position."

Ashlyn: "So all access to the information is now under his card instead."

Carter: "Which is very great. He's not only a higher-up who's someone against the place, but also a cult leader."

The others then talk amongst themselves.

Tyler: "Can't say I didn't see that one coming. He looks like a cult leader."

Logan: "What kind of cult is it?"

Aiden: "Probably something about birds. They all have that crane things, y'know?"

As Ashlyn and Carter read further, they then found something very unexpected.

Carter: "I... I knew Maverick looked familiar, but..."

Ashlyn: "Maverick..."

Ashlyn & Carter: "...Is Mr. Thomas?"
