BEYOND THE STAGE: Notes From A Fan ?

Jungkook pov

The lunch was great.. I just know almost all the good restaurants in jeju, and what to order from where.. Yn was really hungry after the swimming lesson.. And we didn’t even have breakfast.. She was happy and she ate quite a lot, compared to her normal appetite.. She is naturally a small eater.. That is good for her boyfriend, and bad for me.. Bcz most of the meals she cannot finish so naturally her boyfriend, which is me, i get to eat them.. And then i am a singer, and i need to look a certain way, and by eating so much i am getting fat.. 

Jimin came after the lunch, he ate outside.. After a lot of questioning i just knew he wrote 4 lines.. As a result he deserved to be made fun off.. But yn was there, and she forbade me from teasing him.. So i stayed put.. What to do in a lazy afternoon??? I thought about dragging her to bed, but then she discovered the karaoke machine in our living room.. 

She can sing.. She can sing quite well actually.. And i joined her.. She sat in the middle of the living room, with her flowy dress and open hair while singing.. She looked like a fairy or a princess.. She looked so pretty.. So pure.. She was smiling brightly.. Trying to pronounce the korean words with her weird pronunciations.. 

Jungkook rolled out laughing- wow.. Your pronunciation makes this song fun.. 

Yn chuckled- i am trying you know.. 

Jungkook nodded- i know i know.. 

I tried my best, but i couldn’t stop laughing.. Before anything, jimin was on the floor laughing.. Yn’s daily korean isn’t that good.. She uses a lot of english words on a daily basis, and asks me the korean meaning.. But this is some other level shit.. 

Seeing all of us laughing, she gave up singing.. But that also didn’t stop our laugh.. It went on for sometime, until i started singing.. Jimin joined in, along with our managers.. But the bodyguard hyung is naturally a little distaint, so he didn’t join.. It was a fun and lazy afternoon..

Karaoke is always fun.. And it is most fun with the singers.. As it was for yn.. Jimin and jungkook were never tired of singing.. They sang and sang.. It was really great, that she could enjoy so many songs.. And she herself tried to sing some too, which only resulted them laughing at her, but then laughtere is good, she thought.. She wouldn’t argue with anyone about her lack of expertise in the korean language.. She can speak alright, with occasional english words.. The words would be conveyed well, the meaning is understood, and she very slowly could read korean, but she can’t write a single word.. And she didn’t even try so.. What is the use of learning to write a language, when you are just trying to spend a month or so in that country.. She didn’t knew even in her wildest dreams that she would live there, with none other than jeon jungkook himself… she made a mental note of learning the language better..

Yn was enjoying the songs very much as jungkook was singing so many romantic songs.. While doing some funny gestures and dances.. Until jimin got up, holding yn’s hand, he gave her hands to jungkook, gesturing them to dance… and jungkook was very happy about it.. 

Yn liked dancing, who doesn’t??? They danced some cute romantic dances, while jimin sang and jungkook also sang a little bit.. It was very very dreamy… 

The sun was setting, it was pretty orange sky, with saltiness in the weather, along with sea breeze flowing everywhere.. Yn was in jungkook’s arms, he holding her waist, smiling and dancing.. Life felt like perfect for yn… and for jungkook.. This felt like heavenly,... life felt beautiful.. 

He picked up yn by her waist, gave her a little swing and put her down back on her feet.. Earning cute giggles from her.. 

Jungkook spoke- you make my life feel like heaven… 

Yn smiled and placed a small kiss on his cheeks while dancing.. 

Jimin knew in that moment that this is what love is.. And he knew it was what it felt to be in love.. Although he couldn’t properly reciprocate it.. But he couldn’t remove his eyes from the couple infront of him.. They were so in love.. 

They were so happy… 

Jimin could only sigh, in happiness… he was happy seeing jungkook so in love, and it looked so good.. They looked so pretty together.. 

They were laughing together, smiling together, holding each other in arms, having fun, smiling.. 

No matter what was in them, they were both genuinely happy in that moment.. All the managers also seemed to agree seeing them together.. It seemed like yn was getting comfortable with the people around her.. She was comfortable being with jungkook and smiling… she was getting comfortable in her skin, in her body, in herself.. She was feeling more secure in her love, in jungkook.. 

Love felt different to both of them.. Jungkook could spend his entire life in that moment of being together with her, while she smiled, giggled and danced with him.. Singing wrong lyrics, and saying weird words which mean completely different from what it is supposed to…

Jungkook was happy with his girl.. He caressed her hair as she smiled.. 

The manager also sang some old trot song in the karaoke, to which everyone started dancing, along with yn, they were having fun.. Dancing weirdly and laughing about it, it felt comfortable.. 

And there was one person in the mix, who continued staring at the face of yn and jungkook, and what they did.. Holding his phone in his hands, he wrote something.. He wrote a lot.. He wrote the feelings of love, the feelings of happiness, the feelings of being together with someone you love, the feelings of loving, and wanting someone.. 

Jimin wrote down a lot of feelings in his phone, he couldn’t even move his eyes from them, neither could he sing, he just stayed there smiling, and looking and writing.. 

Soon it was dark, after the well spend afternoon together.. And this time jungkook got serious, thinking he has to cook for yn.. He was all serious about cooking, so he thought a lot and watched some videos on youtube, deciding what ingredients he needs to cook.. And then he mentally made a list of groceries they need to buy, other than the seafood itself.. And when he was done, they all got ready to do some shopping.. 

Yn smile- do i have to go???

Jungkook- ya.. I need to show you seafood market.. You never went there before.. Right???

Yn- i have never saw one.. 

Jungkook- then get ready… we need to leave in 5 minutes.. I will go and bring jimin.. 

Yn didn’t need to change her clothes, she just brushed her hair, and put on a mask.. She was now used to put on a mask whenever going outside with jungkook.. It just seemed normal by this time.. She went in and waited outside, while jimin and jungkook joined along with others.. 

Jungkook- we would buy the grocery first and then seafood… 

This time manager drove the car while everyone else was in the back seat.. The grocery shopping was quite good.. Yn stayed stuck to jungkook’s side.. As he was walking around, picking things up and dropping on the basket.. And soon it was done.. And they drove to the seafood market.. 

Naturally the seafood market smelled weird, bcz it is seafood.. And then there were so many types of seafood, which yn have never seen before.. So many seafood which she didn’t even knew existed.. Jungkook walked around with his manager, trying to understand which one is better.. Yn was behind him.. 

It was all fun, until it wasn’t..
