Disclaimer: I've edited this like 10000 times and still think it needs work, but here you go anyway before I drive myself insane. xDXD

Also, mild warning for over the edge sibling drama and... Cats. ;_;

~ Rivana Rita

Hunter's lounging in a half wake, half dream state, his twin brother's tail stroking over his face. It's so soft and furry. That's a good thing. Until it's not. His nose is itching and he can't move without dislodging Crosshair, which –

This is the first time he's woken up quite like this, but he swears he didn't mean to sneeze onto his baby brother.

Doesn't stop Crosshair from yowling like he just got stabbed.

Hunter's self-preservation instincts kick in. He grabs Crosshair's hips and rolls them both onto the floor with a loud crash that definitely wakes up everybody not already awake.

Next trick: try to hug him and not get a face removal. That's harder.

Crosshair snarls, flipping them over again and Hunter grabs his wrists to keep those very sharp claws a good distance from his face.

"It's not my fault!" Hunter protests, "Keep your tail away from my face!"

Crosshair snarls at him, ears flat against his head.

"Crosshair, I would like to keep my face, please," he pants, winded. His back stings from hitting the floor. He tries to brace his arm to keep those very sharp claws away – he thinks both the cats forget how deadly they are. Crosshair's overly rambunctious, and it's easy to flip Tech back into his assassin form.

Threat means termination.

"Maybe you can just hit the shower you haven't touched in three days," Hunter offers, trying and failing to catch Crosshair's right paw. His left arm is sleeping, thanks to being slept on.

Tech's head appears over the edge of their bed, blinking down at them. There's a shuffle as he climbs off their bed – that's Hunter's bed, actually – and circles it to snatch Crosshair by the back of his neck and yank him off.

He gasps at the relief of pressure, sitting up and scooting a little back to hopefully avoid further antagonization.

Crosshair's still flailing, but Tech pulls him back and deposits him on the floor.

"Thanks, Tech." Hunter rubs at his shoulder. "Next time we pick pets, I think I'll choose a smaller one."

Crosshair bears his fangs at him and growls.

Point taken.

"Alright, alright. You can go first."

It's insane how much it takes to get the vamp kitties to shower. They hate being wet. Aside from clean up, they've only done it once in all three weeks they've been on Pabu.

So, yeah. They smell... like cats.

Tech looks at him, but stays quiet.

The others are already up. The smell of pancakes wafts into their bedroom, and Hunter's starving when he finally makes it out to the kitchen.

Their house is tiny, basically only four rooms though two of them are combined into one. It was made for three, but all seven of them pile in and make it work.

"Hope someone's hungry," Echo calls dryly from the stove. How he's frying anything one-handed, Hunter has no idea, but he's not experimenting to find out.
