Metaphors and Sarcasm Todoroki Shoto × Reader part 8

Start from the beginning

"Sure, so a metaphor primarily describes or shows something in a novel way about the topic. Sarcasm refers to using words that mean the opposite of what you want to say, especially to insult someone, show irritation, or just to be funny," you said, reading the exact definitions on your phone so he wouldn't get confused.

"Is I love you a metaphor or sarcasm?" He asked, knowing it wasn't, but he wanted to tell you right now even though he didn't understand love.

All he knew was when you sacrificed your water armor to make their armor stronger; he was angry, but not at you. He was furious at himself for not being able to protect you and at whoever hurt you. When he saw the messages, he wanted to protect you at all costs. Now he was sitting across from you, and his anger at your father for making you leave him alone at the school bothered him. He knew your father was getting more and more upset at you. But he wanted you to be safe and hopefully make them both see you weren't afraid of them anymore.

"I love you is not either of those things. Did someone tell you that they loved you? That's so great, Shoto! Was it a pretty girl?" You asked as he was about to say you just did when Kirishima burst into your room.

"Hey y/n! A sink busted, and the water needs to be turned off, so is there a way you can make it flood the common room?" He asked as you nodded.

"Sure, did you break it?" You asked as you followed him out.

After fixing the sink, you returned to your room, and Shoto left. You went to Shoto's room. You knocked on his door, and he opened it. You hugged him, which took him by surprise.

"This is just in case I don't see you tomorrow. I'm leaving early in the morning to visit my family. I'll text Momo when I get there," you said.

"Y/n, please don't go. I'm not sure what's happening at home, but your family scares you, and I know they do. Don't leave," he begged as you chuckled.

"They don't scare me; they just put much pressure on me. See you Monday," you smiled as he hugged you.

He didn't want you to leave, but he let you go, hoping it wasn't just his worst mistake. You went to your room, and he lay on his bed after closing the door, contemplating if he should tell you he knew everything. There were many cons, but he didn't care if you ever talked to him again. He wanted you to be safe. He fell asleep, and when he woke up, you were gone. He waited for you to text Momo, but you never did.

He stayed up all night Sunday waiting for you to come back, but you never did; he checked your phone, and it still showed you were at your parent's house, so he called his dad, worried you got hurt or worse.

"Shoto, do you know what time it is?" Endeavor asked.

"I need you to come to the school; it's an emergency. I'm going to the principal right now," Shoto said.

"What kind of emergency?" Your father asked as Shoto looked at the tracker.

"Just hurry, get anyone you can up," he said. Shoto knew people would wake up soon for school, but he didn't want to wait.

He hung up the phone and got the spare phone out. He woke everyone up by pounding on their doors and turning on the lights.

"What the hell, Shoto!" Bakugo yelled as Shoto paused.

"I think Y/n is dead," he said as Bakugo looked annoyed at first, then angry.

"What, why?" He asked.

"Don't ask; just tell everyone to go to the principal's office," he said as he quickly went to the principal's office.

He turned on the phone and gave it to the principal. He sipped his tea when Shoto came in and ruined his morning routine. He took the phone and read all the messages he saved, making him put his tea down.

"How long has this been going on, Shoto?" He asked.

"I don't know, after the accident during the sports festival her phone went off, and I saw things so I got a different phone and started saving evidence. She hasn't come back yet, and she always comes back Sunday morning. It's Monday," he explained.

"Who did you tell about this?" He asked.

"No one, I did it myself. Her family is dangerous; I know that," he said as he nodded.

"I'll call the police," he said as Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist came to the principal's office.

"Shoto," Endeavor said as he grabbed the phone and showed his father and the others, and before they could even go through half of the messages he saved, they were out the door.

"What's going on? Bakugo said this was life or death?" Izuku said as he was in his All Might Pajamas.

"Shoto, You can't get them involved," Me. Principal said.

"Bakugo, fill them in; I have to go," Shoto said as he hated the phone to them and took off running to your house. The heroes were already there, including the police searching the place.

"What the hell gives you the right to!" Your father growled as Endeavor punched him in the face.

"You selling your daughter gives me the right to be here. I knew you were good for nothing now where is your daughter!" He growled.

"There is nothing here. I don't think she made it home," an officer said.

"I don't even know what's going on!" Your father growled.

"We are contacting Snapchat right now and getting all the messages sent from your phone to your daughter's also from Mr. Gorden. Would you like to change your statement?" The officer asked as your father turned quiet.

"I want my lawyer," he said with a smile.

Shoto went inside your house and saw how cops were soon through things in the living room trying to find something to convict him on something. But his house was clean.

"If I were a drug dealer, I would have a secret room," shoto said as Shoto started taking down the bookcases.

"Shoto, what are you doing?!" His father asked.

"If I were a drug dealer, I would have a secret room!" Shoro said he couldn't rip off a bookcase right off the wall like he could earlier, so Hawks and BJ quickly went to the case and ripped it down, taking down the door with it.

Shoto went in and found the room was padded, and blood was all over the floor and chains. There was at least a hundred pounds of drugs sitting on a table, and there was another false door. He knocked it down while Hawks and BJ were shocked seeing the room built under the stairs. Shoto ran down the dark hallway and body slammed the last false door to see a guy going into his car.

"Mr. Gordon!" Shoto yelled making him look at Shoto. He tried to get away but Shoto blocked him in with his ice walls.

"Where is she!" Shoto yelled.

"Where is who?" He asked as shoto took him out of the car and looked in the back of the car.

There was nothing ao he popped the trunk open. You weren't back there but he took everything out anyway and noticed part of the interior was pulled up so he it up and found a duffle bag. He quickly unzipped it and found you beaten and bloody and barely breathing. He took you out and held you close to him. Your arm you used for your water quirk was broken in several different places and well as your hand. One of your legs was broken and you had broken ribs. Worst of all you weren't wearing any clothes but a slurry night gown he probably forced you in.

"It's okay I found you. I got you," he said as he heard a gun click.

"I'm not going to jail again," the man said as Shoto held on to you tightly.

"Give me the girl and let me out of here now," he ordered.

"She is a person you used! I'm never letting anyone touch do things to her like you did ever again," he said as he was about to shoot them when Bakugo blasted him into the car.

"Christ!" Momo said as she quickly made a blanket to cover you up.

"Sorry! Traffic!" Izuku said as he Mezou had four other guys under his arms.
