The air was thick with the scent of salt and the soft murmur of the ocean waves as Hina walked along the beach, the moonlight painting the sand in silver.  Tonight, she craved a moment of peace, a chance to connect with someone who understood her world, someone who knew what it was like to be different.

She spotted a familiar figure sitting on a rock, her silhouette outlined against the moonlit sky.  Ava, the water hero Ally, her hair shimmering like moonlight on the waves.  Hina smiled, her heart filled with a warmth she hadn't felt in a long time.

“Ally,” she called out, her voice soft and gentle.

Ava turned, her smile as bright as the stars above.  “Hina!  It’s good to see you.”

Hina joined her on the rock, the cool stone grounding her.  “It’s good to see you too, Ally.  I’ve been…thinking about you a lot lately.”

“Really?  What about?” Ava asked, her voice filled with a quiet curiosity.

Hina hesitated, a flicker of sadness crossing her face.  “About everything.  About my life before, about Fairy Tail, about Erza…”

Ava nodded, understanding in her eyes.  “I know it’s not easy, Hina.  Leaving everything behind, starting over.  But you’re doing so well here.  I’m proud of you.”

Hina smiled, a flicker of gratitude in her eyes.  “Thank you, Ava.  It’s…it’s hard sometimes.  But I’m learning.  I’m trying to be strong, to be a hero, to make Erza proud.”

“Erza?” Ava asked, her voice soft.

Hina’s smile softened, a wistful look in her eyes.  “She’s my little sister.  She’s strong, fierce, and kind, all at the same time.  She’s been my protector, my guide, my best friend.  She taught me everything I know about friendships, about fighting, about life.”

“It sounds like she’s an amazing person,” Ava said, her voice filled with admiration.

“She is,” Hina agreed, her voice filled with a deep love.  “We grew up together in Fairy Tail, a guild of wizards.  It was our home, our family.  We had so many adventures, so many battles, so many laughs…and so many tears.”

Hina’s voice faltered, a wave of sadness washing over her.  “I…I left Fairy Tail.  I left Erza.  I disappeared.  I don’t know what she thinks of me now, if she even remembers me.”

Ava reached out, her hand gently resting on Hina’s.  “I’m so sorry, Hina.  I can’t imagine what you’re going through.”

“It’s okay,” Hina said, her voice choked with emotion.  “I’m trying to be strong.  I’m trying to find my way.  I’m trying to make her proud.”

“You are strong, Hina,” Ava said, her voice firm and reassuring.  “You’re a hero.  You’re making her proud.”

Hina looked up at Ava, her eyes filled with gratitude.  “Thank you, Ava."

They sat in silence for a moment, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore filling the air.  Hina closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, letting the cool night air wash over her.  She thought about Erza, about Fairy Tail, about the life she had left behind.  But she also thought about her new life, about U.A., about her friends, about the hero she was becoming.

A pang of guilt stabbed at her heart.  She thought about Liam, the young boy she and Ava had adopted when she was known as the Wicked Crimson.  He was just a child when they left, and now, he was an orphan.  She couldn't bear to think about what he might be going through.

“Ally,” Hina said, her voice soft, “I’ve been thinking about my magic.  About how it works, about how it’s different from Quirks.”

Ava nodded, her eyes filled with curiosity.  “Tell me about it.”

Hina took another deep breath, her voice filled with a newfound confidence.  “Magic…it’s a part of me, a part of who I am.  It’s not something I learned, it’s something I was born with.  It’s like a connection to another world, a world where magic is real, where spirits exist, where anything is possible.”

“It sounds amazing,” Ava said, her voice filled with wonder.

“It is,” Hina agreed, her eyes sparkling.  “But it’s also…it’s also dangerous.  Magic can be used for good or for evil.  It’s a powerful force, and it needs to be controlled.”

“I understand,” Ava said, her voice filled with respect.  “I’ve seen the power of Quirks, the good and the bad.  It’s the same with magic, I suppose.”

“Yes,” Hina said, her voice soft.  “But magic…it’s also a gift.  It’s a gift that allows me to help people, to protect those I love, to make a difference in the world.”

Ava nodded, her eyes filled with understanding.  “I believe you, Hina.  You’re a hero, just like me.  We’re both fighting for what we believe in.”

Hina smiled, her heart filled with a sense of purpose.  .

"You're going to one of the Top 4 agencies, right?" Ava asked, her voice laced with surprise.  "That’s bold."

"I know," Hina said, a smirk playing on her lips.  "But I’m not afraid of a challenge.  I’ve chosen Best Jeanist.  I want to learn from him."

Ava’s eyebrows shot up.  “Best Jeanist?  That’s…that’s a big decision.  He’s known for being very strict.”

Hina chuckled, “I’ve heard.  But I’ve always been drawn to his style, his sense of justice, his dedication to his craft.  I want to learn from him, to become a hero who can inspire people, who can make a difference through fashion and style.”

“Well, I’m sure you’ll make a great hero, Hina,” Ava said, her eyes shining with admiration.  “But I’m just a little worried.  You know how formal Best Jeanist is, right?  He's all about professionalism and discipline.  He expects a lot from his interns.”

Hina nodded, her gaze fixed on the moonlit waves.  “Yeah, I’ve heard.  But I’m willing to work hard.  I’m determined to prove myself.”

“And you know he’s a friend of mine, right?” Ava said, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.  “Maybe I can give you a little advice, a heads up about his expectations.”

Hina’s eyes widened.  “Really?  You’d do that for me?”

“Of course,” Ava said, her smile warm and genuine.  “I’m always happy to help a friend.  Especially when it comes to a hero as dedicated and ambitious as you.”

Hina felt a wave of gratitude wash over her.  “Thank you, Ally.  That means a lot to me.”

“No problem,” Ava said, her voice filled with warmth.
