Here I am, sleeping peacefully in my bed, the one I haven't been in for so long, that was until I felt multiple furry things on me.

I cracked my eyes open to see all the monkeys hugging me and laying on me.

"Guys, I missed you too, but please, I need to breathe." I gasped for air, trying to sit up, only to fail miserably. "Okay, this isn't going to work."

I lay there for a few more minutes before I forcefully sat up in the bed, making all the monkeys scattering across my room.

I stretched, standing up from my bed.

When I went to take a step forward, all the monkeys immediately clung to me.

I sighed as I struggled to walk to my door. "Guys, I love you too, but if you want cuddles, can you wait until after I get some breakfast in my stomach?"

The monkeys chitter, finally getting off of me.

I opened my door and made my way to the kitchen, the monkeys following close behind me.

I opened the fridge and a cabinet, grabbing a few ingredients for something to make for Baba. "Good thing, Pigsy, let me take some ingredients with me. Who knows how long Baba's been eating hair?"

I sat the ingredients down, rolling up my sleeves. "Okay, I've got the ingredients to make some pancakes for us to eat together. It's definitely an upgrade from congee. Now, let's get to work."

After I made two plates of pancakes, one for me and one for Baba, I made my way to his room.

I slowly opened the door, finding Baba sleeping in his bed.

"Y/n... Peach Fuzz... no... come back!" He suddenly shot up from his sleep.

"Are you okay, Baba?" I walked over to him with the plate of pancakes, sitting beside him in the bed.

"I'm fine... just a bad dream." He sighed, then turned to me. "What have you got there?"

"Oh, I made some pancakes because I had a feeling you've been eating hair for the past thousand years." I gave him his plate. "I thought we could eat together like we used to, but are you sure you're fine?"

"I'm fine." Baba reassured me, but I wasn't buying it. "Let's eat. I haven't eaten with my daughter in centuries."

I smiled lightly, leaning my head against his shoulder as we ate together for the first time in forever.

A while later, after eating, MK came over to train, but Baba was packing for a vacation as he called it.

I knew it wasn't really a vacation, but it still hurt because I just reunited with him recently, and I wasn't ready to part with him again.

"But you can't just leave! What if someone attacks the city. What if the Spider Queen comes back?!" MK freaks out.

Baba chuckles at MK. "Ah, you'll figure it out. It's adorable how nervous you are. But don't be! You've come a long way! And you know, the next step of your journey you must do alone."

I immediately attached myself to Baba's back like a baby koala bear.

"Y/n."

"No!"

"Y/n-."

"No!"

"Y/-."

"Noooooooo." I cling to him more.

I could hear MK's slight snickers of laughter as I kept holding onto Baba.

"I haven't seen you in centuries. I refuse to be separated from you again!" I hugged him tight.
