When we arrived in the activity room, Seiko and Arisa were there. We walked over and sat with them.
"No Zenshrio?" Seiko asked.
"No, he had to, like, do something, I think," Kaz shrugged.
"Interesting," Seiko replied, "So what brings you guys here?"
"Bored," Kaz shrugged.
"Well, do you guys wanna play something? We were gonna play some board games, but there weren't very many options for just two of us," Arisa suggested.
"Sure, that sounds fun, I haven't played very many games," I stated.
"Oh, man, really? We gotta play the classics then," Arisa was surprised.
She walked over to the shelf that had a bunch of boxes of games and came back with a decent sized pile, then sat back down.
"Alrighty then, let's start," She smiled.
We had gotten through about six games before the intercom turned on, announcing that it was nighttime.
"Are you guys gonna go to bed or do you wanna hang here? I'm chill with whatever," Arisa shrugged.
"I think I'm gonna head out, I gotta get to sleep soon," Seiko said, standing up.
Kaz nodded and stood up, too, "I'm gonna check to see if Zenshiro's alright, then I'm also headed to bed,"
"Alright, and you?" Arisa looked at me.
I hadn't had the chance to talk to Arisa much, so I decided to stay, "I can chill here for a bit if you're alright with it,"
"Of course I'm alright with it, I wouldn't offer to stay if I wasn't," She responded.
"That's fair, I could've assumed that," I nodded.
"So, where are you from?" Arisa asked.
"Um, why do you ask?" I asked in response.
She shrugged, "Curious, you sound different than a lot of people here,"
"Well, I'm from Russia," I shrugged, "I know that's a big place, but y'know,"
"Oh, no way? I'm from Russia! What part?" She sat up, leaning a bit towards me.
I smiled, "Near the Yakutsk area, west of it actually,"
"Oh! I'm east of Yakutsk!" She smiled.
"Oh really? My ballet studio was east! Guess it's a small world then, huh?" I laughed a little.
She nodded, "Guess so," She leaned back, "So, you're pretty quiet I've noticed, are you just shy or do you just not like people or something? 'Cause if I know anything about people in the west, I feel like it's the latter,"
I sighed and let out a little laugh, "Honestly, it's the latter, I just don't find a lot of people to be interesting, or like I don't really like talking to people in general a lot of the time,"
"That's fair, I feel the same way, a lot of these people are still pretty much strangers to me," She shrugged, "But I wanted to talk to you, I knew there was something about you that made me wanna talk to you,"
"So, you're a tattoo artist, if I'm remembering correctly?" I asked.
"Look at me, I think it's pretty hard to forget my talent," She laughed.
I let out a small chuckle, "That's true. So, what's your favorite tattoo that you have? I know you have a lot, but is there one that, like, you like more than the rest?"
