I followed Dylan into my apartment and watched her as she made herself at home on my couch. I thought about the fact that she was here. She had to drive all the way here from her college to my apartment on my college campus. All because my meddling clone wanted to try to play matchmaker. I felt bad but I couldn't help being a little happy to see her. It had been an entire month and she looked just as hot as she did the last time I'd seen her. I wonder if she tastes the same.
Shit no stop thinking like that. That is not what this is. Dylan is here for her apology dinner. Which was insane because Hazel couldn't cook. So I honestly wasn't sure what she had planned here. Ya know what it doesn't matter because no matter what she has planned it's not ging to happen. I should just get rid of her so she can just get back to her life.
"So what are we having for dinner?" she asked when I walked into the room getting ready to send her on her way.
I stopped in my tracks. "Uh...Wait you really want to eat here? You know Hazel just said that to convince you to come over here because she was trying to." I stopped what I was saying realizing I was about to out the fact that my sister was trying to hook Dylan and me up.
Dylan raised her eyebrow at me, "She was trying to what?"
I looked at her trying to figure out if she was really clueless of my sister's attempts or if she was just messing with me. Maybe she really didn't know. Maybe Dylan really came over here to have a meal and that's it. A make-up dinner to fix the fact that my Twin may have gotten her fired.
"Excuse me," I said walking away from her and going to Hazel's room.
I didn't even bother knocking on the door I just busted into her room to see her filing her nails. "Oh Hey, Twinny Whinny Pooh, who was at the door?"
"Don't Twinny Whinny Pooh Me. What the Hell Hazel? We just made a pact and then you pull this?" I say pointing to the door.
Hazel attempted to give me a sweet and innocent face. "What? I invited Dylan over before we made our pact it wasn't my fault."
"I threw my hands up in the air. "Ok, so at what point did you think that you should tell me that Dylan was coming over. And for food? Who the Hell is going to cook Hazel? You know I can only make microwave dinners and you can't even boil water. We're going to owe her an apology dinner for the apology dinner. This could end up being an endless cycle."
Hazel smiled at me, "Calm down Whinny, I've got everything under control."
I shook my head at her knowing for a fact she had nothing under control. "You are a bad Clone, you do absolutely nothing to make my life easier."
"Everything will be fine. All you have to do is keep Dylan entertained. Now go back out there you're being a bad hostess. You know Mother would die of shame if she knew we left a guest to sit alone in our living room, especially without a beverage."
I groaned at her remembering our mother's relentless etiquette training. "Fine, I'll entertain just make something nice to eat and do it fast so she can go so I can get back to keeping her out of my life for good."
Hazel stood up and shooed me towards the kitchen. I went and looked in the fridge we were well stocked with juices Gatorade and water. I opted for the Gatorade figuring as an athlete she could always use electrolytes. I grabbed one red and one blue and headed back into the living room. "Here," I said tossing her the drink.
She looked up in time to catch it. "Thanks." She opened the bottle and took a decent-sized drink before sitting the bottle down on a coaster. I sat in the chair opposite the couch and opened my own bottle taking a slow sip trying to work up a conversation. Oh, I guess I should start with.
