Lighter Than Air (BNHA x NB reader) UNDER-EDITING

"Let's win this," I say, putting my mask on and pulling over my hood.

"Yeah," Todoroki responds, looking as cool and collected as ever.

"TEAM I, THIS TIME AROUND WILL BE THE HEROS AND TEAM B WILL BE THE VILLAINS!"

We head inside the building, finding our way to the where the fake bomb is placed. This building has many rooms and hallways, it's an easy place to be ambushed in so we need to stay on our guards.

I look blankly at the door from my squatting position on the floor, I start thinking of ways we could detect Hagakure. I know Hagakure's quirk is invisibility but she can't hide the sound of her footsteps, and if she can, there's another way to detect her; when skin touches smooth surfaces such as concrete, the sweat secreting from the glands make an evident mark on the floor.

No no no those plans are too uncertain...

And we could use Todoroki's ice, but they'll be expecting that, it's to risky.

Crossing my arms over my chest, I try and think of another way we could successfully detect
Hagakure without fail, she's my main concern.

But what if there's another way we could use Todoroki's ice... instead of capturing, we use it to detect.

"Hey Todoroki, can you put a thin layer of frost on the floor, only in this room?" If he covers the floor in frost then we can detect Hagakure by her footsteps, she, just like everyone else, gives out heat from her body.

Nodding, he gets on his knees and touches the ground with the palm of his hand, emitting a thin frost across the floor.

"That's perfect!" I say, smiling.

Nodding once more, he then moves towards the bomb. He starts to build an igloo out of ice, a cocoon like structure that doesn't touch the explosive directly but protects it from outsiders, he then says, "We can't be too careful."

I hum in agreement, and we then wait for All Might to give us the starting cue.

"READY YOUNG HEROS AND VILLAINS, LETS START THE BATTLEEEEEEEE!"

——3rd person POV——

Ojiro and Hagakure are currently walking the  hallways looking for the room where the fake bomb is being protected in.

After what feels like forever just roaming around aimlessly, Hagakure feels a sudden chill go down her spine, she turns to see a door just down the hallway to her left.

"Hey ojiro," she says in a hushed whisper. "I think that door leads to the bomb!"

Ojiro looks towards her general direction, then turning to the said door, "Why do you think so?" He whispers back.

"Because I felt a chill, that's definitely Todoroki's quirk at play, they have something up their sleeve..." Hagakure then continues, "We have to go in together, you going in first, if they see a door miraculously start opening by itself they'll know it's me."

"Okay, then once the door is open, slip by me, remember Todoroki might try pulling the same stunt again, so be careful."

"Of course!"

Pushing the door open roughly, Ojiro bulldozes his way into the room, I'm better at hand to hand combat so I got to get up close. Scanning the room quickly he notices only Todoroki stands alone in front of the bomb, which is covered in a thick layer of ice, dammit it's going to take a couple hits before it cracks!

Running towards Todoroki, he goes to swing his tail at him, but before he could hit him he felt a something slam into his side, and hard. It was so quick that he didn't have the time to react. He was thrown to the nearest wall, shit- that's going to leave a bruise...

Hagakure who saw what happened, was rendered speechless and slightly shaken, did I see that right?-

At first it looked like a shadow came out of no where and then Ojiro was being thrown into a wall. She got a better look at it when it stopped mid air after the attack, as if it was floating. It then occurred to Hagakure that the shadow was actually (Y/N)! They came from somewhere along the ceiling, they've probably been waiting patiently for their chance to strike. They crept up on Ojiro like it was nothing!! Their stealth skills are off the charts and I didn't even notice them in the room!

Before Hagakure knew it, she was completely immobilized, Todoroki had taken this chance to use his ice on her; the footsteps in the frost gave her position away,

Ojiro got back up from the ground, slightly crouching from the previous attack, and got into a fighting position.

He looked around the room, and spotted (Y/N) perched on once of the walls like a spider. Before the exercise, (Y/N) had taken off their shoes and weights, taking advantage of the closed space to safely move throughout the room without being detected, while also planning their attack.

Ojiro crushed underneath his breath, trying to keep an eye on the both of them is going to be difficult. I can tell from how noisy Hagakure is being that she's already been caught...this is not looking good...

"Your time is up, heeroooooo," (Y/N) says grinning like a madman.

Ojiro, though still shaken up, ran towards Todoroki in hopes to get through him to the bomb as a last ditch effort. Just as he was about to swing his fist, he felt his eyes grow heavy and his body grow weak. Why do I suddenly feel so tired...that hit wasn't enough to knock me out, so what....?

What Ojiro didn't notice was that (Y/N) was secreting the smallest amount of sleeping gas, undetectable by the naked eye. Not enough to knock someone out, but just enough to make them feel more worn out than they should be. For Todoroki's safety they gave him their gas mask, which Ojiro and Hagakure also failed to notice was wrapped around his neck; he was waiting for the right chance to use it without being obvious, risking his own well being in the process.

To bring an end to this fight, (Y/N) let out a final wave of sleeping gas, denser and stronger than the last.

Ojiro was then knocked out cold a second later.

There was a moment of silence, until..."WITH THAT THE VILLAIN TEAM WINSSSSSSS!" All Might screams through the speakers.

——1st person POV——

"Hell yeah!" I cheer, unknowingly launching myself off the wall out of pure excitement, casting myself in a random direction. I giggle at this and let myself float around the room, loving the newfound freedom I have when I'm not stressing about my quirk.

Todoroki observes from bellow, he watches as I nearly hit a pillar, I don't understand why their getting so exited over a simple test...

Unknowingly, a small smile formed on Todoroki's face.
