He turned to me as I slowly sat up. I'm trying to think of ways to tell him

"Uh. . something happened . . ."

"What is it?"

"It's. . . some employees reported your family . . . I think they discovered you work for me. They have been sighted waiting outside the entrance when we were out"

His body tensed that the glass he's holding dropped to pieces on the floor.

"Jaeyun"

I immediately went to him as I slowly led him to the couch and tried to calm him down.

"they . . they found me . . ."

"You're really planning on hiding away from then forever?"

He nodded and I'm bewildered.

He's serious?

"Jaeyun . . sooner or later, you will cross paths. You can't hide for life. And it is dangerous. What if they will get you? What will they do?"

"Kill me for sure . . ."

"Jaeyun? . . can you share with me to what extent is their evilness?"

He let out a laugh before taking in a deep breath.

"They will torture me just so I can hand them their whims. . . Sunghoon. . this is too much but please help me. Please, I have been dreaming to be free from them but I can't seem to do so . . . everyday, I am scared to go out . . even if I am away from them, I realized it just made my life even more dangerous. . . ."

"Why didn't you report them?"

He looked down before he slowly shook his head.

"I . . I can't . . . I just . . I can't stand them behind bars. . . what about their kids? Those kids also hated my gut and they don't get along with others"

I was about to reply when I remembered something that made me grab the ring we got from the Lover's Aisle and hand it to him

"The ring is connected to the necklace. . . wear it tomorrow and always, I will install something in the ring so that whenever you go out and you are in danger, you can call me without using your phone. . . don't remove that ok? I got you. We just need to stop by Heeseung hyung to have this fixed. I'll protect you dont worry"

The next day, I received a call from Jay that him and Jungwon were at the hospital, making me panic and mad after knowing why. For some reason, someone found out about Jungwon's business at the Night Life, and the University President literally broadcasted it in the whole campus and so the culprits waited on Jungwon and beat him up.
