(Terence x reader)

Picnic

My heart stopped, thinking it could have been Terence. I wasn't ready yet! I still had mud from today's job and I was looking forward to taking a nice long bath before heading out!

"No ones home!" I yell out, cringing after realizing that didn't make any sense.

"Oh for crying out loud! It's me! ROE.SET.TA!" She yelled, highlighting every syllable in her name.

Thank goodness it's her. Today has been so hectic that we didn't even have time to chat. Everyone's been working overtime lately since one of Tinkerbell's new machines backfired horribly the other day.

Not that we can blame her though, she was only trying to help.

I hurriedly made my way over to the door to open it for her.

"Girly why arnt you out of your work clothes yet? You shouldn't keep Terence waiting ya know!" She places a hand on her hip.

"I'm sorry, I had to cover for Violet since she got injured from Tinks incident" I winced, Rosetta is like a mother at times like these.

Violet wasn't hurt to bad, but Queen Clarion did tell her to rest easy, just in case.

"I'm actually glad you're here! I need your help picking out an outfit!" I tell Rosetta

Her eyes perked up at this. "YES! I love makeovers!"

Rosetta has done it yet again! She not only helped me make a brand new dress, she helped style my hair with some tiny flowered jewelry that made my hair glitter in the sunlight.

We did call for backup from Dessa and Silvermist since they had been making their way over to Rosetta's for some tea.

"Oh dewdrop I'm sure he'll fall in love with you all over again!" Sil said

"She's right!" Dessa spoke "you're going to be the light of his day!" She brought up her hands and made my room light up beautifully with a rainbow.

We all laughed and chatted along until I heard Terence make his way over.

I've learned to recognize his wing pattern and how they sound when he's in a hurry.

"He's here!" I yell out

Everyone was shocked that I remembered that detail about him but giggled

"She must be really in love" Silvermist said

"I swear if he says anything rude or mean to you sugar pie, you tell us and we'll beat him up for ya!" Rosetta had a fierce look in her eyes, which quickly disappeared as she smiled and opened the door for Terence.

"Oh! Hi Rosetta! Is (Y/N) around?" Terence asked her

"She's right here honey!" She stepped out of view and I saw Terence's jaw drop, his eyes wide as he looked at me.

He whistled and said "you look...wow..." after some time he finally spoke up again "(Y/N) you look gorgeous"

He couldn't keep his eyes off me, I treasured the feeling as I couldn't help but stare at him too.

He had gotten dressed to the T today.

Looks like we both thought about and planned our outfits today.
