You opened your eyes fully to find he was uncomfortable and immediately pulled yourself away, embarrassed.

"Oh my god, I'm...Im sorry..." You mumbled while putting your forhead in your hand, your cheeks bright red.

Vittorios exspression softened as he placed a hand on your shoulder, his thick white eyebrows knitting together.

"Its alright, it's alright..." There was a moment of silence with just the sound of the snapping of burning wood before Vittorio spoke again.

"You remind me so much of her. I...it's painful most times." He said, his voice trembling from emotion.

You lifted your head from your hand, turning to face him with great interest in your eyes.

"My daughter, Dakota." Vittorios eyes shined bright as his tears reflected the flames, smiling faintly as he stared at you.

"I say her name after every trial, as to not forget her. But her voice...I can't remember what she sounded like. I can't...I can't remem-" Vittorio suddenly broke down in tears as he lowered his head in his hands, his shoulders shaking from his sobs.

It was the first time you had ever seen Vittorio cry let alone break down, the first time he had revealed to you any piece of his past.

You cursed yourself for reading the room wrong, reaching your arms around Vittorio to hold and hug him. As he sobbed quietly you thought about your own life, life before The Fog. You still had a very clear picture of it and of all your loved ones and you closed your eyes from the pain that their memory caused.

"I'm sorry, Vittorio..." You whispered as you held him tighter.

"I'm sorry..."

Beads of sweat trickled down the side of your temples as you lifted your self quickly in a seated position on your bed, your pillow soaked from sweat. You blinked frantically in the dark, trying to get your eyes to adjust. You reached for your phone to look at the time, it reading : 3:44 am.

Your head pounded with a headache that only threatened to get worse and you stood to your feet to head to the bathroom. You flicked the bathroom light switch on but the circular light remained off.

Need to change that bulb...

The small night light in your hall provided enough light to illuminate the bathroom just enough to be able to see inside of the cabinet above the sink. You reached for the headache medicine, uncapping and placing the pills in your mouth with one swift movement. You took a big gulp from the faucet water with your hands before also splashing your face.

When you closed the cabinet you let out a gut wrenching scream from the reflection in the mirror. Behind you stood The Ghostface, a finger held to the mouth of his mask in a hushed gesture. You remained frozen as you felt his hands slide across your hips from behind, gripping it with familiar ease.

You stared at him in the mirror, the white of his mask appearing to glow in the dark bathroom.

"Yes, I remember you sleepy girl...You followed orders so well that night, in the shack." His voice was warped and it seemed far away.

You shook your head as you clenched your jaw swallowing the lump that had formed in your throat, pushing back the memory you fought so hard to forget.
