I arrived at the palace, fully aware that today, I would bring her to her knees.
Stepping into the living room, I saw my mother and Abhinav.
"Abhinav, take Maasa to her room. Do not come out, no matter what you hear-yelling, crying, shattering glass. This is my order."
"What's wrong, Abhi? Is something going on? Don't say things like that; it scares me. Is everything alright? Where is she?"
Maasa asked, sensing the anger simmering within me.
But her last question hit me hard.
How could she even think of coming here, busy as she was with her lover?
"Abhinav, take her," I ordered, striding towards the bar area.

I was on my way to the palace, feeling a wave of drowsiness overtake me.
I closed my eyes, drifting off.
Moments later, I opened my eyes to see Uday looking around while the car had stopped in front of a cafe.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Rani Sa, the car has a punctured tire. The nearest repair shop is quite far," he said.
I reached for my purse and cursed inwardly-I'd forgotten my phone at the orphanage.
"Rani Sa, the repair shop is outside the city, and this car could stop at any moment. I've already called for another royal driver; he's on his way," he explained, sensing my discomfort.
