We last read Chapter 5, in which Carla Rosenblood a.k.a. Nightclaw enters her "secret room" below her bedroom in Darkveil Manor and converses briefly with the remainder of the Two-Scale Traffickers whom she's taken into her custody against her will. After a while of trading words back and forth, Carla reveals that she fully plans to torture and inflict pain on each and every single one of them until they die.....before punctuating her point by beginning a very unsettling musical number that kills at least five of the traffickers—whom she starts referring to as her "victims" instead—before she technically even starts singing.

During the musical number, Carla officially jumps off the slippery slope and gives in to her inner darkness, roaring that if she can cause more bloodshed and pain as a villain, then that's exactly what she'll become. To further emphasize her transition, she ultimately kills her very first completely innocent person during the segue into the last one-third of the song, completing her transformation from simply a ruthless anti-heroine to a full-on villain in every sense of the word, even renouncing her status as a Paragon. The chapter ended at the same time that Carla's—now Nightclaw's—musical number did, with her "secret room" having fully transformed into a nightmarish and hellish landscape with Nightclaw herself at the center of it all, complete with flame geysers, translucent orange smoke, shadows of dancing human skeletons, and the screams of the tortured and dying Traffickers. The reborn lycanthrope villain then lets out a magnificently evil laugh as she raises her head skywards, officially deciding to get started on her merciless and gruesome rampage.

This time, Nightclaw wastes absolutely no time putting her plan into motion, returning to the surface of Darkveil Manor to eliminate her first two targets.....

Now in my ferocious werewolf form—with pointed ears, burning yellow eyes with dark slit pupils, elongated snout with sharp teeth, jet-black claws, blood-red fur, and all—I menacingly sneak back up and out of my "secret room" below my bedroom within Darkveil Manor and exit back out of my walk-in closet that I typically walk through on my way in. After that, I exit my bedroom entirely and begin slinking down the halls of the estate on all fours.

No one inside is safe now.

If I'm going to cement my status as a villain—and I am—then the first thing I need to do is to cut off any connections I might have who could potentially turn me back to the side of good.

I want nothing more to do with that side. I had to exercise restraint when I was a part of it. I had to hold back my urges when it came to dealing with innocent people. But now that I'm unleashed, I'm a force to be reckoned with. I can kill whoever I please—guilty or otherwise—and nothing and no one will be able to stop me, no matter what they do. Guns, rifles, TASERs, vehicles, anti-tank rounds, explosives.....nothing.

I will kill until everyone on this globe has fallen to my teeth and claws.....or until someone manages to kill me and put an end to my internal suffering.

Either way, it's a win-win. It's highly unlikely anyone is going to be able to kill me, anyway.

But, as I said before, I have some key targets I need to eliminate first.

I'm still slinking through the main corridor on the second floor of Darkveil Manor, with my shadow menacingly projected on the wall thanks to the moonlight breaching in through some of the high windows. I now look and function more monstrously than I ever did during the time I was a hero, and.....forgive me for saying so, but I actually happen to like it. My blood-red fur somehow looks even thicker, my senses are heightened, my claws are honed, my teeth are bared......
