Y/N's POV
" Ah!" I say as one of the senior guards struck me across the face. I fell to the ground and touched the spot where I was slapped. " You idiot! How could you be so stupid?!" The guard asked. " I-I'm sorry. But I was told that-" I was slapped again. " You should have enough common sense to know that a criminal in maximum security shouldn't have their release granted so quickly." The guard said. I turned to see the three other guards that told me about the change snickering. they set me up. I lowered my head to prevent anyone from seeing me cry. " Useless. A complete waste of space." The senior guard said. He walked away and so did the other three that told me the wrong information. I got up and walked off, wiping my tears away. My name is Y/N L/N. I work as a guard in a maximum security prison that houses the most dangerous criminals. I've been working here for the last four years but I haven't been treated nicely. My supervisors and coworkers look down on me. probably because I'm so young. My coworkers bully me and tell me misinformation that always gets me in trouble.
As for my supervisors, they get away with anything. The amount of times they've touched me is high. They haven't gone too far thankfully but I suspect they will soon. I've tried saying something to HR but they ignore me, just like everyone else. I'm all alone here. I leaned up against a wall and continued to cry. " Why am I like this? Why can't I have just one friend?" I said to myself. " Y/N L/N, please report to the Warden's office." I heard the person over the loud speaker say. I wiped my tears and headed up to the Warden's office. As I walked the other guards snickered and talked about me under their breaths. I covered my ears to block it out. I soon arrive at the Warden's office and head inside. " Y-You wanted to see me sir?" I asked. " Yes. I heard about your mishap." He said. " O-Oh....." I said as I looked down. He sighed. " Look Y/N, I'm sick of all of your blunders. You mess up so many times and blame it on others." He said. " B-But-" He cut me off. " Because of this I will have to fire you." He said. " N-No. Please! I can't lose this job. I promise I'll be useful. Please." I begged. He sighed.
" Fine. But if you screw this up you will be fire." He said. " thank you sir. What do you want me to do?" I asked. I'm demoting you to the kitchens. You will be a deliverer for the food to the maximum security area." He said. It was a pathetic job but a job none the less. " Do NOT mess this up." he said sternly. " Y-Yes sir." I said. the next day i was tasked with bringing food to the guards and prisoners. Well, prisoner. There is only one prisoner on the maximum security floor. Wriothesley: The Hound Dog. He earned that title from his aggressive behavior. He was the former Warden of this place but ended up getting imprisoned. Apparently he was working with some notorious crime families on the side but no one could prove it. At least, not until he was captured. He killed at least 200 people with his fists during a dispute and got caught. He was put in the most secure cell in this place. Only a select few could get in. " State your purpose." The guard outside of the room said. " I'm um...here to bring food to the prisoner." I said. " Fine. I'll let you in." He said.
