Y/N's POV

" My dear son Y/N, I hope this letter finds you well. I apologize if it seems hastily written. I have already sent word to your father about but since you are now king, I figured I needed to inform you as well. I have encountered another enemy during my time here in Beast-Yeast. The original owners of the Soul Jams, the Beast Cookies, have awakened and have threatened our homeland. I do not know if the Beast that originally owned your father's Soul Jam knows that he left the kingdom. If that Beast still believes he resides there, they will stop at nothing to get the Soul Jam and your cookies may be caught in the crossfire. Please inform your father if anything strange happens. He has already been preparing to travel to Beast Yeast. I know he will leave from the Kingdom with some of his old comrades. Stay safe my son." The letter from my mother read. I let out a sigh. " First the mysterious tower being built by monsters and now the threat of a Beast Cookie?" I said to myself. It has been eight years since I became King.

The Kingdom has been doing well and the cookies are happy. The number of monsters have started decreasing and the Great Wall has been rebuilt. As for Affogato and I, we haven't been happier. We've actually had more children. We had our daughter, Mocha Cookie, when Roast was three and our second son, Creamy Vanilla, last year. Roast is now eight, Mocha is five, and Creamy is about to turn one. Affogato has also been forgiven by everyone and has made a wonderful ruler by my side. I couldn't have asked for a better mate. As I was thinking about what my mother wrote in his letter, a servant quickly came rushing in. " Your Majesty, we have a situation!" They said. " What's happened?" I asked. " Just come with me." They said. I walked out of the throne room and followed them to the medical wing. When I walked inside, I was shocked at what I saw. It was chaos. Healers were running back and forth and there were sick cookies laying on the beds. The weirdest part was that their dough was turning to flour.

" What is going on here?" I asked. " Do you remember that mysterious white flour that came over from Beast-Yeast? We believe that has something to do with this. The cookies' dough has been turning into white flour. The odd part is, they seem happy about it. As I looked around, I saw Affogato treating some of the patients. " Darling." I said as I ran up to him. He turned towards me. " Y-YN, what are you doing here? It's dangerous." He said. " If it's dangerous you shouldn't be here either." I said. He scoffed. " You sound like the healers. I know medicine my love and these cookies are my subjects as well. As your consort, I will do whatever I can to help them." He said. I smiled and kissed his forehead. " And that's one of the many reasons I love you." I said. As I observed some of the patients, I heard them mumbling about something. I walked up to one, even though the servants were trying to stop me. " We must become flour once more. Only then can we be free of our suffering" The patient said. " This has to be the work of the Beast Cookies mother mentioned. I have to tell my father." I said. I got up and started walking away. But as I left the medical wing, I bumped into someone. I looked down to see Roast. " Roast? What are you doing here? You can't be here. It's dangerous." I said. " Then why are you and mother here? These are my cookies too." He said. " You have to stay away from here because something bad might happen if you don't." I said. " Then you and mother should stay away too. Why is it different?" He asked.

" It's different because you're the Crown Prince. If something were to happen to us, you're next in line to be King. Plus, Crunchy wouldn't like the idea of his mate being so close to the sick cookies." I said. He looked down and nodded. " Hey, why don't you come with me and help me write a letter to your grandfather? I'm sure he'd be happy to hear from you." I said. He looked up at me and smiled. " Okay." He said happily. We walked off to my private study and I began writing a letter to my father. Roast began writing one of his own. Once I finished, I gave it to a messenger. " Deliver this to the Vanilla Kingdom immediately. No delay." I said. The messenger bowed and ran off.
