Dragon Ball: A New Beginning - Goku and Android 18's Journey

Bulma continues to study the Time Watch and make sure the Android pod systems remain operational. While Android 18, Solara, Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Raditz were walking down the hallway, following Mr Popo to a special door. Then, the Z-Fighters stopped several feet from Mr Popo, and then Mr Popo turned around to face the others."Mr Popo will explain," Mr Popo started as the others listened closely and were curious about what was behind the door. "Only one or two people may enter this room. It is timeless in there. You'll spend a year in there while out here one day," Mr Popo said. But, before Goku turned to face the others to ask them how they would do this. Vegeta shoved everyone aside. "Move! I'm going in alone," Vegeta said. Then, Mr Popo opened the door and let him inside, and then Mr Popo closed the door behind him and turned to the others. "Mr Popo believes he will be fine. I have set the room to give him a cloud partner," Mr Popo explained. Then, Goku looked at the others and figured out who would go in next, but then Raditz spoke up. "I'll go in with Gohan when Vegeta comes out, Little Brother," Raditz said. Goku nodded. "Be sure not to rough him up too much, Raditz," Goku said. And then he turned to the rest of his family and Android 18. But suddenly, there was a loud crash on the lookout, and it just hit Bulma's portable lab. The Z-Fighters rushed to see what was happening, and they also heard Bulma screaming her head off while she was still in the lab, holding down the Android pod and making sure the systems were still online. "WHAT IN THE ENTIRE WORLD WAS THAT!" Bulma yelled as she quickly double-checked the systems, and they were still in order, but the Z-Fighters were shocked as they stood at the entrance of Kami's home, and what they saw that crashed was a space pod. "Oh, please let it be one of Freeza's men! I want some action against them," Raditz started. But then, he slowly started to sense a Ki that he never thought he would ever feel again. "Okay, I take that back... Goku, help me with this pod," Raditz said. Goku was confused, but he nodded and went to help Raditz with the pod. Bulma came out of the lab to see what was going on. Then, she looked at Android 18 and Solara and then back at Goku and Raditz. "What's going on? Is there someone in the pod you know, Raditz?" Bulma ask. Raditz held the pod steady to have the hatch open the right way while Goku used his Ki to cut the hatch open. "Yes! Someone I thought was dead on Planet Vegeta..." Raditz said. Then, Goku spoke up. "How come this person's Ki feels similar to us?" Goku asked as he finished cutting the hatch open. Then, Raditz and Goku pulled the hatch off, and then the person stepped out of it.

Standing there with a Saiyan tail at its backside, it wagged once, standing at four feet tall and eleven inches and weighing one hundred and three lbs. She was a female Saiyan whose armour was torn, and they had battle scars on their body and a scar across their left eye as the group looked at her. They noticed she was old and looked to be in her late forties or early fifties. Then, Bulma came closer and was cautious of her. "Um... Hello? Are you okay? Do you need some medical attention?" Bulma asked. The woman looked at Bulma and hesitated to answer, and then she turned to see where she had crash-landed, but she locked eyes with two men, who she thought she wouldn't ever see again. With her throat caught, she found it hard to speak. "Raditz!... Kakarot!..." The woman started. Then, the woman rushed to them and hugged them tightly in her arms. "I thought I'd never see my boys ever again!" The woman said. Goku was confused when Raditz showed a rare smile when a sudden flash happened, and then the trio looked where it came from. It was Bulma with a camera phone and giggling that she had just caught Raditz smiling. "Finally! I got a good picture of you smiling, honey," Bulma said as she giggled again. Raditz blushed and covered his eyes. "I am going to die from that!" Raditz mutter. Then, The woman looked at Goku and showed a sad and puzzled expression. "You bumped your head, didn't you, Son," The woman said. Goku and the others were shocked to hear this, except Raditz. "Do I know you?" Goku asked. Then, Raditz spoke up. "You were only little to know this, Little Brother. But this is our Mother, Gine," Raditz explained. Goku looked like a stiff log and looked to have a heart attack. "Our Mother!" Goku said. Gine couldn't help but giggle at her son's reaction. "Yes, your Mother, and barely survived our home's destruction," Gine said. Then, Raditz cleared his throat to gain Gine's attention as Raditz walked over to Bulma and stood beside her. "Mother... I would like you to meet my wife, Bulma," Raditz said. Gine was curious as she came over to Bulma, circling her and checking Bulma. Then, Gine stopped and stood beside Raditz and looked a little disappointed. "What's the matter, Mother?" Raditz asked. Then, Gine looked at her right side and looked up at Raditz. "Why is this being not a Saiyan?" Gine bluntly asked. Bulma couldn't help but feel a little offended as she was ready to speak up in anger, but Raditz spoke up first. "My wife is a human, Mother. You're on Planet Earth, and my brother and I do have another surprise for you," Raditz said. Gine felt confused and tilted her head to the left, and then Raditz went over to Goku and whispered in his ear to ask him to go and get Trunks while they waited. Goku nodded, and then he teleported to Capsule Corps within a minute. Goku had returned with Trunks in his arms as he passed him over to Raditz.
