Meanwhile, Max was jolted awake by strange cackling echoing from the hallway as He stumbled out of his sleeping bag, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

Max:Did you hear that?

he asked Koneko, who seemed to be the only one still awake.

Koneko:Yeah, it's probably one of the teachers...

she replied, her voice low and cautious.

Max:I'm going to check it out.

Max declared, opening the door cautiously As he peered into the dark hallway, a shadowy figure stood at the end, watching him intently making him gasp as Koneko's eyes widened.

Koneko:Do you see anything?

Max:Yeah...a shadow...

Max replied, his heart racing. Suddenly, the figure spoke, its voice chilling.

??:It's time...

Before Max could process what was happening, the figure vanished into the wall, and the power went out, plunging them into darkness.

Max:Koneko, wake everyone up!

Max urged, the urgency in his tone breaking through the fog of sleep as They quickly moved through the ballroom, nudging their friends awake.

Max:Wake up, numbskulls!

Max shouted, trying to keep the panic at bay as Yang groaned, rubbing her eyes.

Yang:Ugh...what happened?

Shobai:Yeah!some of us are trying to sleep.

Max:Something's here!

Max declared, trying to rally the group as Mineta's eyes widened.

Mineta:What?!

They heard a door being forced open from downstairs, and instinctively, everyone fell into a fighting stance.

Max:Everyone stick together!

Max commanded, his voice steady despite the fear gnawing at him.

Kiba:Right!Let's go everyone!

Kiba responded, determination flashing in his eyes as Uraraka's voice piped up, 

Ochako:Wait!Someone's missing!

They all glanced around, realizing Rias was not with them as Issei's expression shifted to panic.

Issei:RIAS!We gotta help her!!

Without a second thought, Issei bolted out of the door and headed downstairs.

Max:That idiot!C'mon, you guys, we gotta follow him!

Max yelled, rushing after him.

Bakugou:Why?

Bakugou grumbled, still half-asleep.

Max:U-Umm...BECAUSE I'M CLASS LEADER AND I SAID SO!!!

Max bluffed, trying to sound authoritative.

Asia:And because we're all in this together!!

Asia chimed in, her voice filled with resolve as Max nodded, grateful for her support.

Max:That, too!

With that, they charged down the long hallway, the atmosphere thick with tension and uncertainty.

Strange grunts echoed from Tokoyami, and Max's thoughts raced as he recalled the lesson about Dark Shadow.

Max:'That's right!Dark Shadow is stronger but harder to control in darkness...'
