Lucky One -- Twice FF

"So did you win the game?" I was on a call with Jose while I waited for my friends to arrive. 

"Barely. Those guys were pretty good. A lot better than the last few seasons, which threw a lot of us off our game for the first half. It was like they could predict all our moves before we did anything," He started explaining the latest soccer game. 

"Did any of them know you guys? Maybe that's why it made it harder," I said laying down.

"I don't think so," He paused. "Their team captain looked familiar but I can't tell from where."

"I'm sure it'll come back to you eventually." I said.

"Yeah you're right but what about you? How are preparations coming along? Were you able to submit more songs?" He asked. That's what I liked about him. He always made sure to ask about me. It was never just about him. He wants to know about me too.

"Pretty good actually. We are gonna film the music video pretty soon, I think. I don't really remember the exact date I just know it's coming up but I do know we are recording one of my songs that got approved tomorrow," The excitement in my voice being very obvious.

"What's the song about?" He asked with a chuckle,

"Well it's a....um it's like a love song I guess." I said a little embarrassed.

"Oh? Is it about me?" Now I know that was flirty as hell. Does that mean he likes me? Or is he just joking?

"Psh you wish," It wasn't about him. "I wrote it after talking with Lily about some guy in her class that she is apparently talking to." All though, now every time I think about the song all I can think about is him but he does not need to know that. Nor will he ever know that.

"The guy she's always with?" I hum in response.  "Honestly that dude is not good news."

"Wait, really? Is he in some sketchy shit?" I asked concerned for  her.

"Not that I know of but he just gives me bad vibes. I told her once but I guess she doesn't believe me." He said. I could tell from his voice that he was disappointed about her decisions. That's another thing I liked about him. He cares about the people he knows.

"Keep an eye on her for me? Please?" I asked him, scared that my best friend would get her heart broken. Especially with how much I know she likes that guy. "You know I would but, there is only so much I can do from here."

"For you? Of course I will," I could hear the sincerity in his voice.

"Thanks," I pause. "It means a lot to me."

"I'd do anything for you my love," He said in a soft voice. Yeah he is definitely flirting with me. Maybe we could make something happen.

"Ana is talking to her boyfriend," I heard a teasing voice from the stairs making me sit up.

"Unnie!" I yelled in surprise and embarrassment. It was Chaeyoung and Tzuyu with my friends. Thankfully, it was Tzuyu who said that so he did not understand what she said.

"You have a boyfriend?" Natty asked, with wide eyes. 

"Since when?" Lilly followed up.

"Don't you have a ban?" Chaeryoung asked a little scared for me.

"He is just an old friend," I clarified immediately. 

"So I'm guessing your members are there?" Jose spoke up. I almost forgot he was still on the line.

"Uh yeah a couple of them but also some friends I made here," I said looking away from them.

"Oh did you have plans? I'm not taking up your time am I?" He asked.
